The results have been bad but the performances have been even worse. No confidence, structure, stability and totally weak in defence. Strachan improved things immediately when he came in but Clarke has made things worse. He was brilliant for Kilmarnock but currently dreadful for Scotland.

Maybe it's my age but I am so underwhelmed by these 2 games and the international team these days. Our defence is a shambles with so many injuries. Midfield is ok. Up front non existant. Clarke needs more time to work with the players but he can't establish his system as there are so many missing players. A vicious circle. To compare the start by Clarke versus the start by Strachan is worrying. In conclusion. It's all baws.

Robertson has been worse than O'Donnell the past 2 games especially when he's starting at a higher level. Still he's a nice boy, well spoken, says all the right things. Teflon Don despite playing very poorly. People need to look at both full backs.

Excluding David Marshall everyone was poor. Maybe too much responsibility put on Robertson who is a nice boy but maybe we need a bit more of a leader/bastard as captain? Some slack passes, out of position players and switching off coupled with a very effective opposition with some impressive players who are ignored as most play in Russia and a collective "shiting it" which is a weird phenomenon which impacts lowly 5-a-side teams all the way to fulltime internationalists.
