The fizz is out his Asti……. last wee while at Leicester his team were reeling and so was he.
if he’s anything like his earlier days with Celtic and Liverpool then great to have at the helm, but if he’s had it, and kinda trying to force it, then it’ll end badly. I think it’ll end badly.
Have you got a chip under a tiny shoulder?
that comment is not justifiable. If Scot’s are good enough they’ll get a game…… just there’s not many quite there yet…… plenty pretty decent hopes but hickey is a rolls Royce at brentford, as is Robbo af Liverpool. Give it a bit of time and gilmour and tierney could both be. It’s tierney being injury prone that has meant his career has stalled a bit, not anti-Scottishness.
Agreed, get him capped. Not because I’m scared he goes to England, but because he’d be asset to the squad.
If he wants England then leave him be.
At his age, playing almost every week, another season at Boro isn’t a bad thing.

bbc confirms the levels of shite it spouts by linking rail strikes to Eurovision.
was also annoyed earlier his week at Chris Iwelumo using foundering instead of floundering in a bbc column……. buts that’s just my inner chripper coming out.
Last season’s Arbroath would have been a really great story……. but as you say, anything but the norm……. Ayr, and as the years pass, even thistle, are outside ‘the norm’.
maybe you’re right, but maybe, although he may think it’s a wasted year, he can appreciate that in long run could be good learning for his future and he doesn’t just want to leg it somewhere else. Still pretty young for epl starter.
Is he unsettled?
he’ll be pissed off not playing, but sometimes you have to bide your time……. maybe it’s now turning and he’s impressed the manager in a number of ways.
still think it’s a good club for him to be at and become the main man in midfield.
