  1. How come Wembley is hosting games with fans on May 29th yet Hampden isn't allowed to have them a week earlier? Surely whatever rule prevents us having fans applies to every host stadium?
  2. If Gilmour isn’t in the squad it’ll be a joke, if he isn’t in the team it’ll be poor.
  3. Someone from the north east chucking out the tartan Tory line is beyond parody.
  4. Here’s an idea: take your parochial, misogynistic, Salmond-loving, anti-gra, one-failed-horse party and stick it up your arse 👍🏻
  5. According to some on Twitter, alba’s vote in the the north east might’ve cost the SNP a list seat there.
  6. Gallagher confirmed as signing a two year deal with Aberdeen.
  7. 8 Scotland players 👍
  8. You realise Gallagher is 30 and has played for Clyde, Dundee, Livingston and Motherwell? He should go where he'll get the most money, combined with regular games.
  9. Completely and utterly misleading and there's no way that you don't know that fine well. Any SNP supporter in the south of Scotland who doesn't go SNP 1&2 is taking a massive risk for a start. The same applies, albeit to a lesser degree, in the Highlands and Islands and plenty other areas where the SNP aren't guaranteed to win the constituencies.
  10. Don’t know if it’s the right topic for this or not but I see the lowland league are bending over to receive the rangers and Celtic B team shafting.
  11. Mo Ross has been sacked as Notts County assistant manager after five weeks in the job for making "inappropriate comments" to one of his own players at the weekend. Must've been pretty severe comments to get sacked for gross misconduct.
  12. Good on the fans, even if it’s for nothing other than exposing Gary Neville and sky’s hypocrisy. “These clubs need to be taught a lesson until it interferes with our schedules because we’re the only ones allowed to fuck football over using money”.
  13. It's all brinkmanship anyway. UEFA will give the big clubs more direct say in the running of the Champions League and more money from it and the changes due to be voted on today will end up going through anyway and that's the end of the super league. Until the next time the big clubs want more money of course. All this talk of kicking them out their domestic leagues and banning players from international football is purely posturing as part of the negotiation.
  14. Scotland's defence coach Steve Tandy going as well. Hopefully Scotland players outnumber Scotland coaching staff...
  15. Would be interesting to know what would have happened if the Euros had been in a "normal" year. Cup final have to be played before the 14th or moved elsewhere?
  16. Tierney is a world class attacking left back because he's so good going forward and also because he can hold his own defensively. Playing a loose left centre back role against a relatively weak side like the Faroes allowed him to show this off perfectly and he was involved in three goals and most of our good forward play. Generally, we struggle to score goals and create chances, so playing Tierney as a defensive midfielder so that he can't use his attacking threat on the left flank is obviously the way to go.
  17. Hopefully that's his logic in standing in the Highlands. Either way it's a complication for me as I didn't/wouldn't vote for Finnie but I might well vote for Wightman.
  18. Andy Wightman standing on the Highlands and Islands list is a further complication as, based purely on individuals over parties, he's potentially more worthy of a vote than anyone else.
  19. I think Turnbull and Gauld could make an argument for being hard done by for this squad, and I'd include Gilmour every time but can kinda see why Clarke didn't, but given that Gerrard played a centre back in Patterson's position yesterday then maybe he isn't quite ready for international football yet. Hickey probably deserves a go before him.
  20. What’s best for the national team would be for all gate money and other income to be pooled, not a sticking plaster solution which will only help widen the gap between the old firm and everyone else.
  21. Gilmour on the bench for Chelsea. At least he’ll get a good view of the game.
  22. Would've liked to have seen Turnbull.
