Sounds like his cruciate ligament is damaged and will be out for a long time. Who is the Scotland number 2?

Bad decisions and injustices are a big part of football and debating incidents with your mates is part of the fun. If every decision was unequivocally correct what could u argue about after the match. -
75 million to Liverpool is the latest rumour. That seems like alot of money for a defender! He is a good player but I wouldn't have thought he was worth that amount. Nice bit of cash for Celtic if it comes off too.

They have recently introduced permit parking in partick

The money spent on PSG is nuts and I wouldn't be surprised if the hump every team this year to win the trophy. Financial doping is alive and well and if uefa don't do something about it then football in general is in trouble. They spent 300m this year on 2 players!!! Celtic have a huge advantage against other Scottish teams but the psg situation is a different level completely. -
Selling the Hoose

I've been going through the same process, things to look out for. They want you to pay up front for a marketing pack, find out what's included in that as it can vary wildly from a max 6 photos to as many photographs as you want and a walk through video. Check if the numbers they are quoting are inclusive of VAT as they mix them up even within the one estate agent quote. Are viewings included, is it Mon to Fri office time or including weekends. Some ask for extra money for evenings and weekends. -
Minimum Price For Alcohol
Mee replied to Mee's topic in Anything Goes - Other topics not covered elsewhere
Stupid tax which will only hit the poor. Middle class folk in general won't be drinking bottles of wine that cost less than 4.50 or cheap cider so will be unaffected when going to the supermarket and getting 4 bottles of wine with their shopping. They should control sales through restricting stores or hours or introduce a tax that hits all alcohol, cheap to expensive. People will be selling petrol and chemicals as cheap "vodka" same thing which happens in Russia and it will be all the politicians fault. Reducing alcohol consumption is a nice idea, this is a ridiculous implementation. -
Good first half with alot of chances for Scotland. Very good performance from Tierney and McGregor. If Griffith's was playing we would have scored at least one. Christie looks dangerous too.

Yeah every time he gets the ball. Embarrassing

Tierney and Forrest were both superb tonight. -
I hope the next manager is a Scot and I think the managers should have the same rules about eligibility as players

Feeling sad after today's game, chance to go to a finals gone. Good players at the end of their careers no chance of ever playing in a tourney. Chance to experience it with my friends as an adult gone. Just totally gutted.

The guy that got sent off got his first yellow for halfing Forrest. He wasn't one of the 2 at the free kick
-
I loved seeing the guy get sent off for diving. In the box it should be a straight red as it can have such an impact on a game. Brilliant performance, brilliant result. Sunday is going to be a stressful nightmare but I can't wait and am very jealous of the folk going over. One more to go

Good performances and results. Shocking turn out for a must win qualifier at home.

Just came across a story about a young Ajax player who had a heart attack during a pre season game this year and has suffered severe brain damage. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40720230 What a sad story, looks like he was a great player

So many questions. Why go in the river? How can you not get back out? How do you end up needing hospital treatment for hypothermia on a summers night.? -

https://youtu.be/WqHNpM3QxwY At 48 seconds there is a clear headbutt motion from Jack that is in line with the ref and not visible from the other angles. If that's what the ref saw you can see why it would be a red but from the other angles there is nothing -

Goal here what a hit -
Pretty poor game, just noticed that this is the second time these teens have played in pre season. Makes a bit of a mockery of the super cup (which already had little respect) Lukaku is mince!!

Tower block on fire in London
Mee replied to 86glebestreet's topic in Anything Goes - Other topics not covered elsewhere
I don't actually see this as being a class issue but an issue with building standards. There will be "luxury" apartments up and down the country clad with this material. The refurb that happened recently in the building was £8.7 million. They just appear to have inexplicable stuck the equivalent of firelighters to the outside of the building to save a grand total of 5k. -

They have refaced alot of flats in Glasgow with clading too. Will need to test it all again -
The bin problem is caused by the council cleansing department not actually wanting to be bin men. I've watched them walk past bags of rubbish or even better drag a Wheely bin over the top smashing the bag open. Watched as the guy looked at the bag, looked at the bin considered putting it in then though Nah and smash the rubbish everywhere. Worst council department by a mile. Takes a month to get a bulk collection by which time people will have piled a load of stuff on top and then the bin men will refuse to lift it as the pile doesn't match the original list that was called in. They will end up bringing back hunners of rats and the plague if they keep it up. Big bins are on the street as they refuse to go round the back to collect the waste now.
