  1. Soem of those videos have been mirrored it looks like, lady holding her up is standing on both sides depending on which one you watch. Also looks like weird as feck everyone pretending it isn't happening.
  2. Mentioning this argument was the only subject that ever brought him back. To deny a claim made, can't remember specifics.
  3. Parklife isn't a bully. He is just a bit of dick in debates. Ormond you sound like you've been triggered here. We can set up a safe space for non-triggering discussions. Maybe get you a move out to a commune in the bay area. If you're going to label someone you need evidence. The TAMB has really been emasculated when Parkie is the board bully. ( No offense Parkie) Someone send Ormond the pics of Parkie playing football and wearing that jumper.
  4. To be fair BLM will have so many agent provocateurs in it by now be hard to separate the wheat from the chaff.
  5. it goes through Linlithgow. Some local charity events (Macmillan) were cancelled as no one can get in to the events, due to the road closures. Others are having to park their cars quite a bit away so they can actually get to work on the Sunday. Road closures are starting at 5:30am in some areas. Quite a lot of folk moaning, then folk moaning about the people moaning. Local community folk saying no liaison by organisers this year, as Linlithgow Folk Festival is on, but no convenient way to get into town from 6am to 3pm. also the route changed. Doesn't affect me though. Some folk are struggling to get to work unless they park their car a mile away the night before. Basically some folk are raging, and others are raging at folk being raging. I'll probably sleep through it as will have been up all night watching MMA.
  6. Courage is using your own pic as an avatar on a message board. Poetry for the digital age.
  7. I "gamble" on MMA, not every event but sometimes the prices are way out. Maybe once a month. For instance I got 6/1 on Werdum to submit Cain Valesquez, the fight was at high altitude and Werdum had went out 8 weeks early to acclimatise and Cain turned up the week of, tired after a round and easy money. Only got one punt wrong, when i put money on Aldo to KO Macgregor. Although the first time i did it, i ended up betting on live basketball and lost my winnings.
  8. You'd think a wage bill that dwarfed all others (bar one) would be enough of a sporting advantage without having to increase it via various means. It's crazed thinking, pathological monomaniacal desire that lead to the house burning down as you tried to make sure your wall was the highest, almost literally at any cost. David "Ahab" Murray
  9. There is no way to falsify the concept of God, therefore science has nothing to say about it. Some of the claims made in various creation "myths" directly contradict known science, so they clash there. On the actual subject of a creator and monitor of the universe there is nothing to say. We don't know the actual moment of the big bang and we can't recreate it. We can recreate an equal energy density some time after expansion. The actual expansion and time zero is still a mystery. Religion is a symptom of certainty. The shroud that lies over the invisible. Anyway new World of Warcraft is out , so stop posting religious shit in my geo-political thread please
  10. this happened less than a week ago. Turks also shelling positions as well which were probably to soften up before the land invasion of Syria. Kurds accuse Turkish intelligence of assassinating military leader in Syria’s Jarabulus The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Tuesday reported that Abdulsettar Al-Cadiri, commander of the newly established Jarabulus military council, was assassinated by unknown attackers. Syrian Kurds accused the Turkish intelligence service of carrying out the attack. Turkey has so far not responded to the allegations. Turkey for over a year has said that Jarabulus is a red line, and the Kurds are not allowed to take the town of Jarabulus–which has been under the control of the Islamic State (ISIS) for over two years. However, since crossing Tisreen dam and taking Manbij city from ISIS two weeks ago, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have got closer to the town of Jarabulus on the Syrian-Turkish border. The SDF-backed Jarabulus Military Council was announced in a statement on Monday. After three hours, al-Cadiri was killed by sniper fire in the town of Sheykler. The Kurds say two agents of the Turkish intelligence were captured by the Jarabulus Military Council and are being interrogated. “We in the military council of Jarabulus warn the Turkish government for its aggressive actions. We stress we will not stand idle towards such hostile acts,” the council previously said about Turkish plans to back Syrian rebels to take over Jarabulus. http://aranews.net/2016/08/kurds-accuse-turkish-intelligence-assassinating-military-leader-syrias-jarabulus/
  11. So a race between Turkey and the Kurds to claim Jarabulus is on. Under the cover of fighting Daesh. All being justified by the 12 year old who bombed the wedding.
  12. Turkey's invaded Syria... "Turkey has launched a major military intervention in Syria, sending tanks and warplanes across the border in a coordinated campaign with Syrian opposition fighters, who seized an Islamic State-held village in the area in the first hours of fighting. The operation, called Euphrates Shield, has a dual purpose: to dislodge Isis from Jarablus, its last major redoubt on the 500-mile border, and to contain the expansion of Kurdish militias in northern Syria." https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/aug/24/turkey-launches-major-operation-against-isis-in-key-border-town
  13. Ha ha i still have the post i was going to make saved, might as well click it now Why do we need this guys input? He is like greyfriars bobby waiting next to Scottish labours grave for years not realising it isn't coming back
  14. Yeah also use of people with low IQ's(some disability), easily led people etc. Also rich ideologues as well. Unfortunately child suicide bombers aren't new either.
  15. The young laddie they filmed with a belt on him (that they just walked up and took off him) was an amazing piece of serendipity. No handler to detonate it remotely, no tamper device. it was a belt and they had a TV crew just standing filming it(actually multiple broadcast quality cameras) as the cops set up no cordon etc.
  16. I must admit i never heard about the 12 year old.
  17. Same with the pro's back in the day. SRR after he lost the first fight to Lamotta, fought him again 3 weeks later with a tune up in between. I didn't realise that Dick McTaggert won the Val Barker, wow! My Gran's cousin was scottish featherweight champion and it was his hands that went that thankfully shortened his career. Still managed 54 bouts in 6 years though: his first 5 fights were in less than a month. http://boxrec.com/boxer/16360
  18. Are Police Scotland still in a huff over whatever and on an unofficial overtime ban?
  19. the law changed this year to ban any publicly funded place. "Israel boycott ban: Shunning Israeli goods to become criminal offence for public bodies and student unions" " The Government says it is banning public boycotts of Israeli goods because the practice undermines “community cohesion” and Britain’s “international security”. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/israel-boycott-local-councils-public-bodies-and-student-unions-to-be-banned-from-shunning-israeli-a6874006.html
