  2. Was watching a program on BBC about a sculpture from Scotland who has done some magnificent Football statues at various grounds over the UK. For the life of me I cannot remember his name. Got me thinking.. I have only been to Hampden maybe 10 times, and don't recall seeing any statues of Scottish football heroes.. I could be wrong, Now, if there is not, are there any plans to erect a Statue or Statues, and who do you think is deserving of one? I read an article that was published in 2020, and there was mention of the likes of Gemmill, Dalglish, Baxter, Law, even James McFadden made the short list for example that may be considered. Has anyone heard anything on this proposal? I also read that the biggest hurdle was if Hampden would remain the National Stadium therefore a Statue or Statues would go ahead.... I personally think it's long overdue. We should be doing this to honor our Scottish Football heroes for old and younger generations to enjoy. Apologies if there is a Statue or Statues, but I could not find any additional information... Who would be your vote?

    Cornwall TA

Been living in the deep SW for about 18 months now, is there such a thing as a Cornish TA group or a group that get together to watch games?
  11. Maybe Shankland is the best we’ve got at the moment, but I’m not so sure. I’d like to see Stewart given a chance during the friendlies. See if he can make a case for himself to be in the squad for the Euro’s. At the very least it’ll add more competition for the strikers role. Shankland’s finishing disappointed me in the last friendlies. Some of his other play was good, but at the end of the day, we need a striker who can score. A decent striker scores at least one of the chances Shankland got over the 2 games.
  12. Well, all I can say is if I view my tickets on Chrome I can see my seats for all 3 games. I’m not technically minded to offer any other advice.
  13. Shankland is nowhere near as good a striker as McCoist. He’s not got the instincts, intelligence, craftiness that McCoist had in and around the 18 yard box.
  14. I doubt he’ll get many goals for Scotland, there’s levels to this game and I don’t think Shankland will get many goals for Scotland. I’d be happy if he proved me wrong though.
  15. Good morning..... The bowl is my pizza dough for tomorrow. The paper bags are the weans leftover chippy
  16. Bloody 11.30 pm on a Friday night and not a single fridge 😡 This has turned into a fridge-id forum. I had fully expected Bonzo to post a pic of his fridge, after a wee Friday night snifter, and for Mrs B to give him a tongue lashing for not cleaning the glass shelf. I can only assume everyone is rushing off to Morrisons tomorrow to fill their fridge full of interesting food . I wonder if we have any Waitrose shoppers on here 🤔 I am away to bed to dream of all the exciting fridges I will wake up to tomorrow 🙋‍♀️
  17. Do you have ‘his n her ‘ fridges ? 😁 Herts, I imagine your fridge is very orderly and full of healthy food. Maybe a bottle of pouilly fume or malbec. Now the only way to prove me right or wrong is to post a pic !
  18. Looking forward to going to Parkhead tomorrow and seeing Shanks donthe business again. HHGH
  19. I just read this elsewhere, I thought it was a windup surely... What a disgrace to football and humanity this mob is !!!
