Kieran Tierney and John McGinn

There is an article in today's (Sunday) daily record that suggests that Tierney and McGinn are set for Scotland call ups when Gordon announces his squad on Thursday. 

I can't post a link to the article so would be greatful if someone can ????.

Good to see Tierney in there. Hope he actually gets a game and isn't just called up to train.

Wouldn't have included McGinn personally, but then again I'd gladly have him in the team ahead of Andy Halliday or Jason Holt !

Neither Halliday or Holt should be anywhere near a call up. Nowhere near international standard and doubt they ever will be. 

Tierney looks a cracking prospect.

Really hope Tierney is called up. Would like to see Barry Douglas get a chance too. Won the Polish league and playing top flight in the Turkish league now - He will have improved in his years away abroad and is only 26.

 

Robertson, Tierney and Douglas 3 good left back options - Something similar for right back would be nice now!

John McGinn, captain of 21's and stand out player for both the national team and for Hibs. Yet to see him look anywhere near out of his depth in a match - although Hibs have only played half a dozen matches outwith the Championship. Clearly his time will come - not concerned whether or not he is fast tracked now. If he is improving the team - then that is another thing.

Good to see Darren Fletcher back enjoying football and playing well.
