Andrew Wilson - Edinburgh will flourish as a European capital city to rival Vienna, Stockholm, Copenhagen etc. Increase in diplomatic and government jobs, saving in cost of London government offices. Ian Murray - New government jobs will be offset by 1000s of losses in financial services and academia due to funding cuts. Edinburgh would become too much of a focal point of power in Scotland.
