black'n'tan
There's a lot of critical opinion on Internet of the competence and behaviour of management team, the training regime or apparent lack of it, poor team selection, unsuitable player signings, unfit players, one tactical formation for all opponents, inability to set out a team to defend, attitude and disinterest among players, Henri F@&%#*+ Anier, unable to change a game plan when things clearly not working, behaviour away from the ground unbefitting a professional management team, financial rewards for players sales , selling best players to their best mates , a departing chairman currently lapping up the tinnies and barbies and other unrest. The criticism is almost endless and destabilising whole club. As a season ticket holder watching games it's very hard to defend or refute any of the above allegations as cannot see any counter argument to these watching team in action. Silence from the club doesn't help either. Looking forward to hearing the full truth coming out of what they've done to Steve Campbell as well. Appears his popularity is better the the 3 amigos and strong suggestions that full story shall not reflect well on others rather than SC. Maybe if they go en masse we get SC back in post and a Manager who can sort this all out as there's no doubting ability of players at their disposal. 4 nil at Hamilton jeez !!!! Thank god changed plans and didn't go !
Ally Bongo
Did Accies not finish last season in even worse form than United and were without a win or even a goal this season? When you lose 4 goals to a team in that sort of form, questions have to be asked. Accies played reasonably well and were definitely the hungrier team but United's were awful. It's not losing to Hamilton that is the problem. It's losing 4-0 to Hamilton who hadn't scored a goal all season and were the only team we were able to beat in the three months after selling those two players to Celtic. It's only week 3 of the season so saying "Accies have not scored all season" is hilarious ! Accies have a few new players and the signs were there (although i was critical) against both Partick & Ross County that their results would change The point is that you can only say "we shouldnt be losing 4 nil to Accies" if you have a far better squad or far better players. You dont and nobody in the league outwith Celtic does
NEILY1314
And, fanbase does matter I'm afraid. Football clubs - generally speaking, and averaged over a few seasons - finish in order of support. United (average attendance 8500) should not accept losing so heavily to Hamilton (avg 2500). Great. Hearts should finish well above aberdeen this season then

TartanJon
Hamilton will get relegated and finish about 45 points behind Aberdeen.

Ally Bongo
No offence intended Ally, but if you dont think Aberdeen have a far better squad and far better players than Hamilton then you are a clown. No offence taken Similarly the same applies if you think Aberdeen have a far better squad and far better players than Hamilton as the 3-0 trouncing at Douglas Park last year would testify (which came during a period where Accies were unbeaten in 8 games leading up to that including winning at Parkhead) Obviously Aberdeen have a better depth of squad than Accies and are able to adjust better to injuries and suspensions proven by how the season unfolded (not to mention Accies losing their manager & top scorer) But outwith Celtic there is not much between most teams in that SPL when each has their best eleven on the park and fit. No team has far better players and far better squads than any other and the results throughout the season with each mostly being able to beat each other bears that out Now if you had said Celtic have a far better squad and far better players than anyone else in the league then you would be correct however John Collins beat you to it last week
TartanJon
You're on glue ya mad feckin kent there was 45 points between 2nd and 12th ya nutter. The bottom team only had 30 points, the team who finished 6th only had 45 points. Aberdeen beat Hamilton three times without conceding a goal after losing that game.
