washboarder
OK lads and lassies, this may sound complicated just bear with me. Anyone traveling by train from Belfast to Dublin on 11th 12th 13th june enterprise train tickets don't go on sale until 4 weeks before travel through translink priced aprox £12 single, the capacity for these trains are 280 persons. those traveling back on sunday wanting to catch flights and ferries from Belfast and larne are advised to travel on the first train which is @ 10am however the sunday train is not the enterprise and the capacity for passengers is reduced to 250 so its advisable to book quickly. just to let you know the return leg Dublin to Belfast can be purchased from irish rail @ midnight this Wednesday priced @ 14.99 euros (aprox £12.) irish rail wont let ppl purchase outward tickets from Belfast to Dublin. advisable not to wait to buy returns just buy singles from the two companies.. Anyone flying into Belfast international have the option to hire a car through enterprise Mondeo size for about £65 from Friday to sunday or Monday, and fuel to Dublin rtn less than £40 so if five of you rtn trip can be done for about £20 a skull plus parking in Dublin this is what we have opted for, can see a pinzer movement on the motorway from Belfast to Dublin. Remember if your gonna hire a car theres a £200 credit card refundable deposit required Hope this is clear and helps Edited April 14, 2015 by washboarder

washboarder
It will be more complicated when we have a at least 500 ppl going for the 10 am train at the same time fighting over 250 seats
Ormond
It will be more complicated when we have a at least 500 ppl going for the 10 am train at the same time fighting over 250 seats That's just like a Scotland game getting on at Perth and the train is full of Aberdonians. It's no biggy. Just make sure you have a carry out with you. Job done.

sjc1987
forgot about the noon train just make sure it give you enough time for airports and ferry terminal the Dublin line notorious for jumpers so can cause delays flying to belfast heading to Drogheda but on an early flight on thursday morning. Back monday so no big rush. Worked in ireland and rail experience (and general way of life experience) is slow and relaxed. Sheep on the line... teecee-
Na think this is a bit of a Red Herring- your saying Mrs Murphy strolls up for the 10am and canna get on? My railway sources here say no problem buying on day of journey. Just add a few more carriages if crowds anticipated.

bossman4
It could be the security alerts around the Lurgan area that could really bugger things up. I travel between Portadown and Belfast every day and its a regular occurance. One a few weeks ago lasted the guts of 18 hours.
