redstevie007
The Moray Firth from Lossiemouth at sunset. I sit here for hours sometimes reading a book or just looking and it still takes my breath away every time. Armchair Bob
Take those today EK? I saw the Glencoe ski webcam at dawn and nearly headed out the door there and then.

Yes, conditions weren't as good as I'd hoped though, still very grey with little contrast.

Armchair Bob
Nice. Looks like another breathtaking morning in Glencoe: Wish I had gone with my plan to head to Glen Etive this morning instead of a run near Edinburgh and an afternoon family walk. Armchair Bob
Doubly frustrated as last weekend went to Goatfell on Arran. Beautiful day, was in plenty of time for the ferry so detoured to Haylie Brae above Largs. The hills of Arran looked amazing, couldn't wait to get up them: However this was a close as I got! I arrived at the ferry ten minutes before sailing time, just in time to see the ferry doors being closed and the boat leave Ardrossan harbour without me. I knew you had to arrive with plenty time to spare if you had a car, didn't realise similar rules applied to foot passengers. So this is the second weekend in a row of fantastic winter weather I've not headed out - hope I don't live to regret it. Days like this in the hills are what memories are made of.
