washboarder
Ya canny drink on the bus train it is. theres one 10.35 12.35 Belfast central to Dublin Friday morning, sunday return restricted 10 am 12 noon 14.00 Dublin to belfast journey takes 2hrs 10 mins. if you on afternoon flight from Belfast advisable to get 10 am train in case of delays and rail works. return ticket £18 if booked in advance (28 days b4 travel) remember to get your carryoot grub in Belfast as prices on train bit expensive theres a Tesco on royal avenue Edited March 17, 2015 by washboarder
wanderer
Took train from Belfast to Dublin and back for the last game against the Republic. Plenty through the day and not all that expensive. Journey took slightly longer than I thought it would be (Belfast to Dublin is something like 2 hours by road, yet train did not seem to be any faster)

Your allowed Drink on it , also you avoid the crazy traffic that can occur in Dublin on a Friday Edited March 17, 2015 by Green_Tide_Rising

sjc1987
we are training it on the friday but only to Drogheda and staying there. Seems to be cheaper going to dublin than it is Drogheda despite it being 30mins further away.

washboarder
enterprise train ,on translinks website cant book until 28 days b4 travel aprox £18 return, if you are flying back on sunday afternoon from Belfast try and book on the 10 am train from Dublin Connolly street as sometimes there are line works or the odd jumper on this line and delays possible on a sunday
