phart
Dunno. An article in the Guardian also has the Scottish birth ("David's father, Ian Donald Cameron, was born in 1932 at Blairmore House. But soon after that, the old place was sold"). Maybe a bit of historical revisionism from the torygraph then about his birth. I have no idea myself beyond what i read, so i can't really take a stance against him being born in Scotland another obit says london http://www.scotsman.com/news/obituary-ian-cameron-stockbroker-prime-minister-s-father-1-809702 BBC article implies it's his grandfather who was born in scotland http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-26082372 Feck knows really

I had that very same thought as i was trying to find a definitive answer for Donny and I.
ShedTA
Fictionally Harry Potter did go to school in Scotland, so he could play for scotland quidditch under the same reason as Jordan Rhodes (if he was real) Dufftown is near hogwarts. http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Dufftown Potter was pretty pish at quidditch. I wouldn't have him on my team - gets pushed off the snitch way too easy.
