PaisleyBuddie
Anyone else booked on the Ryanair flight from Cologne to Stansted on 20th June? When I booked it in December the flight was departing at 1640. Having recently checked the Ryanair app it has changed to 1855 meaning I'll miss my connecting flight from Stansted to Glasgow. I haven't received any notification from Ryanair about the change of departure time. Anyone else on this flight and have you had a notification from Ryanair? Bit of a bummer but normal practice with Ryanair. Had this a few times where I’ve clocked the change before they officially tell you. You will get an email at some point soon advising you of it unfortunately. You should be able to change to the earlier flight in the day if you contact through their live chat it’s a bit early in the morning that one mind you. If we are offered that early flight it arrives in Stansted 11.5 hours before our connecting flight!!!

macwomble
If they agree to change the Cologne flight to the earlier one I personally would considering ditching the other flight. I’m assuming you’re flying back to Scotland that day from Stansted. If so there are some not too bad basic fare prices, eg lunchtime to Edinburgh for £26 with Ryanair and £34.99 with EasyJet back of 3 to Glasgow. macwomble
I’d keep the other flight just in case it changes again or there’s a crazy delay.

It actually works out better for me as I’m on the 2100 easyJet flight to Edinburgh, less time in Stansted. Would have been nicer to find out by email as opposed to a fans forum tho. 2nd of my connections Ryanair have fucked about with they’ve already cancelled my flight to Baden Baden Edited January 24 by dan cake
PaisleyBuddie
Would they allow me to choose the flight from Cologne to Stansted on the 24th? That way I can stay for all 3 games.

Think so, they let me have a flight from Stansted to Bonn (instead of Baden Baden) for no extra cost yet that flight was 5 times the price of my original, was on the same day tho. I had to phone tho the app was useless

When you are going through the chatbot questions either do not answer or ignore them or where they make it compulsory to put something in just put a random letter in. As they haven’t got any answers to your query it will fairly quickly move you in to the queue to speak to an online agent rather than a virtual one. Good hack, I’ll remember that for next time (as there will be one)
Kemp6103
I'm really surprised my £28 Ryanair flights I booked in October from Stansted haven't been cancelled yet.

Good advice if using the bot I called their customer services, hardly any wait, and sorted very easily - Well done Ryanair, for once! PaisleyBuddie
I found a direct number for their customer services, it's 01138684151.
Mike Ehrmantraut
I was supposed to be on these flights as well, going to have to think of something else now. They still haven’t told me about the change

DoonTheSlope
Stansted is a great airport with a fantastic destinations. If I stayed there I’d be away every other weekend. There’s always loads of flights for around £10-£15 to lesser known places if you book well ahead
Mike Ehrmantraut
Changed my connecting flight to a later flight to Edinburgh instead of Glasgow. Bit of a pain but not the end of the world.
PaisleyBuddie
Bang on 90 days notice, email to confirm time change. Half an hour or so in the phone Q but now on the 1515 the following day.
