RabtheBruce Posted August 24, 2023 Share Posted August 24, 2023 This time the seedlings are purely based on qualifying, so if we win the group we’ll be either pot 1 or pot 2, which would be massive for us. There are six groups in Germany 24 with the hosts automatically one of the top seeds, so the other five top seeds will have the best qualifying record from the 10 group winners (in groups of six, games against the bottom team are discounted). Caledonian Craig Posted August 25, 2023 Share Posted August 25, 2023 I'd say if we qualify from the group stage (without need for play-offs) we're virtually sure of being a minimum of Pot Three if we finish runners-up.
