scottincarlisle Posted September 10, 2014 Share Posted September 10, 2014 Won't be able to fly out until 1pm on the day of game from Glasgow, trying to figure out a route that will get me there in time If you cant go before 1pm the only direct flight from uk on match day that would get you there in time for match is from Stanstead at 1-15pm. scottcross Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Booked up after I bought my match ticket at 12 today. £27 Motherwell to London on train Sunday 12/10 arriving very late into Euston then a train to Luton Airport from St.Pancras which will be about £10 single. £90 return Luton to Warsaw Chopin on Wizz Air - 0820 flight on Monday 13/10 + getting 0600 flight back on Wednesday 15/10 £43 for flight from Luton back to Glasgow just after lunchtime on the Wednesday £72 for 1 night in Mercure Centrum as going straight from the game back to the airport on the Tuesday night. £242 all in. Staying with Friends in Germany so going by train via Frankfurt and Berlin. This time got a nice little appartment near the station and the Old Town, better than the one I had before! wheres the pies Posted September 16, 2014 Share Posted September 16, 2014 Just booked up flying out of stanstead on the 17. 25 flight on the Monday the 13th but coming back flying into Bristol did not want to book the Sunday flight from there it would have meant a stay in Bristol on the Saturday night and the hotels where not cheap and is easier to to get to bournemouth the train fare from bournemouth to stanstead is more than the plane fare anyone on the 17.25 flight please do get in touch if you would like to share a taxi from Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
