  1. Heck, I'm gonna have to think up some tunes for the relaunch You have until November to find a happy song. Even Halleluja is miserable
  2. Don't know what's worse. Putting so much effort in, just to wind us up.
  3. Plus its low wage, zero hours contract, need to be fit by bike (drumlins!) and long, late hours. One firm just closed in Glasgow this week & their folk got papped with no notice. They won't get the money back they had to pay for their kit either I bet.
  4. I see the NASA earth pics as what would fill your field of view from different altitudes. From a low orbit, you would only see a part of a continent, but be able to see more from half way to the moon (The real one, not your just-out-of-reach CD or whatever.) Experiment: Take a photo of a globe from far away and from very close up (wide angle lens to fit it in), then resize the pictures to make the globes in the pictures the same diameter. You misunderstood me... I don't believe the canal is higher in the middle; Your original video makes the claim that water would be uphill in the middle it is if the earth is a ball, along with railway lines. It's the same erroneous point about having to point about having to point the airplane nose down to keep it level. Airplanes fly straight- and-level over the globe due to gravity.
  5. Didn't have a stopwatch on it, but the journey felt longer than the trains. I've only used them to & from the Malta game and there was almost no queuing when I boarded, but there will be a heck of a lot more folk at the next game. ...which will add to the train queues too of course.
  6. Oops, a new one now targeted? I think a warning is due to Admin for abuse Obviously now Tartan Army Message Bored.
  7. Two bands best known in the 90s in Glasgow this coming Tuesday. I've chosen Living Colour over Bush just to go to the smaller venue. Sorry to miss the latter. Got Mastadon at the Barras in December. Last time they were there I overdid it with the Jaeger A great night though.
  8. So it's Putin that has been causing us to distrust our media Bassa!
  9. Getting these in now, in case it closes early... or before some buggger goes and saves it
  10. Sincerely. Whether the TAMB lives or dies... Hope it doesn't come to this
  11. Aye, just my super clock powers. Dearie me
  12. Obvious, now you mention it thplinth. Very few flights have been far enough away to get a wide view. Most orbits will still be from just a few miles up. And they would have needed to fake simulate the curvature to make composites
  13. Can't believe I'm getting suckered into this. 2012 is easy. Taken from a lower altitude, so field of view is filled by N America. Funny how you can see further by flying higher in an airplane. I gave up on the OP video, as it wasn't funny for any more than 5 minutes. FFS, the Suez canal should drain from its ends since the middle is higher!??! Might as well say that if the earth is a sphere all the water should run from the north pole to the south and dribble off the bottom.
  14. I'm sure I used to wear that outfit Dave. The crimson version. With the platform shoes too. Didn't pull. Might have been the acne.
  15. Thanks Newryrep. You always get help on here. Lets see what they come back to me with. I expect they are busier than normal right now!
  16. In the next six weeks? Be aware that either or both of those flights could be cancelled.
  17. Exactly! Just a goal kick, and happy at 0-0 coming up for half time. Just remember a blur of white and thinking, "Is that the net moving?" Get shivers every time I see a picture of the scoreboard clock. Spent more time looking at it than the game.
