  1. Did anyone watch this? http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b060dwn3 Puts it in a nutshell. I found it quite sad, but a great insight and worth a watch. I've seen Kezia in action, and I always felt she was out of her depth and a sacrificial lamb (poor soul - I wanted her to do well being young an all, and at least mount a challenge, but wee Nicky was just to good) - I don't percieve her to have the gravitas, knowledge or wordliness to lead a party - maybe given time. But, the above link for the docu just shows why they are so out of touch - they just don't seem to have no idea why they are here, what they are doing, or what they are meant or be fighting for. They have no USP.
  2. Deary me .... this is what Labour in Scotland have to offer http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-33581402 I find her embarressing.
  3. Where was this job centre that he had to save 5 days bus money ? 10/10.
  4. Thats true. I heard it. Thought it was staged, but turned out to be true.
  5. Yeh, but you wanna hear the comments I get when wearing this one - and I'm ginger ha ha
  6. This is a wind up and tooo funeee, I spat my beer out as soon as I opened the New Content of the TAMB afterthe comments on the Aftershave thread. Anyways, just in case you are being serious...expensive though
  7. Where do you live for 3 pints and 2 Fish Suppers for £18 ?
  8. You have to take it in context mate, I'm in Australia. The girls have always loved that one over here. Anyways, I've been "had" - she got me ! Txt a mate from work who got me the job, and says wait 'til you meet her mate, she's Fookn NutS ...... you've met you match with this one Thannks guys, but at 45, I've learnt the lesson - got too familiar too soon, keeping it pro as per my usual.
  9. Hi Guys, started a new job and week 6 and all going well. Had a bit of banter with a girl in a differant office via email and phone - she has a rep for being great fun - about 24 years old. I sent her the Scottish Bar Stool photo as she was asking about Scotsmen. Email back. "Please note Company emails are monitored and this is considered offensive? I wouldn't be surprised if HR issue a warning letter for this type of behaviour" - no smiley face after it .... Boss was copied in on the original and reply email. Get on well with him, and just asked - is she serious ? He shook his head and sent her "8==D" but did not copy me in as he typed the reply, while showing me. All was fine - so I emailed them back to say thanks for everything, I've cleared my desk, and it was nice knowing them. Inferring I'd been sacked. No response. Then started thinking, maybe the boss meant me "8==D".....am I being paranoid ????? Now I'm panicking
  10. This is my worry, was always my worry. Next election, people might realise it's a wasted vote. We are impotent in the UK regardless of number of SNP in Scotland. Vote SNP, get Tory. I stay in Australia, have heard nothing about Wee Nicky, apart form her stance on Greece (never made international news, had to search for info). There has to be another referendum, based on the public voting and having no voice - unlikely in this term. The easy route is to go back to voting Labour (Regardless of the Fooking Numpties standing) to oust Tory rule. No one internationally understands the Scots for voting the way they did. (I know what happened so no need to respond to this). What do we have for leverage SNP to make a real impact ???? YES. and SNP, for the record.
  11. Any claim should be considered from a legal and commercial viewpoint. How much did it cost to replace the damaged component ? How much will it cost to pursue it ? Your contract is with point of sale, but Shimano are quite within their rights to reject your claim if they see mitigating circumstances which will be expressed in the warranty. I would consider that legally you don't have a led to stand on unless you were to have a rebuttal from an expert witness. You could just keep being a pain in the ass, telling them you've been a loyal customer and feel you have been let down blah blah until someone gets fed up and asks you to be paid to just go away ...
  12. That was the impression I was given, my Dad said he would vote for Wee Nicky, his first ever SNP vote, but cast iron NO, if there was any mention of referendum. 3.6 miilion turned out for the Referendum (85%) - so 4.3 million elegible 2.0 million No 55% 1.6 million Yes 45% 2.9 million turned out for Election (71%) - so 4.1 million elegible 1.45 million voted SNP 50%, 1.45 million didn't. 50% 700k didn't or couldn't vote. 200k missing based on elegibility (Under 18's?) 500k obvioulsy didn't feel as strongly about the election as they did for IndieRef. Can anyone read more into these bag of fag packet figures ?
  13. I have a really flat feeling at the moment, jubilant at the result but was really hoping for a hung parliament - Englnad has voted to a degree in avoiding a LAB/SNP coalition in my view, rather than really really wanting a Tory Govt. I can't help feeling that SNP can't really achieve very much now. We have voted for what we want in Scotland, and once again we end up with a UK Government we don't want and reject. I have this bad feeling, that if SNP over the course of these next few years, can't make their voice heard in Westminster, and cannot deliver some tangable results, then next time around, I can see the people of Scotland veer more towards tactically bolstering Labour to ensure we at least avoid another 5 years of Tories. The real power and momentum would have seriously been gained had it been a hung parliament. I was hoping that, from where I had read somewhere, that Scotland could break away without a Referendum because of the majority that SNP hold. Hopefully someone can show us a potential path - early days I know. Someone tell me I'm wrong and give me something positive - I'm stuck now, not knowing what the possibilities area.
  14. As soon as the deficit is gone. Are you kidding ?
  15. Nope. I've read every post, this is the one I had to respond to. I don't think this is the reason .... it has to be much BIGGER than that, and I'm not buying into ALL the too far fetched theories, it's so simple to me 1. The planes can't be piloted this way, unless controlled by GPS, even still, they cannot fly this way at those speeds with accuracy - impossible 2. The planes can't cause that damage to the facade, they would disintegrate on impact if not before considering above ^ the planes would be close to self distruction anway. 3. Too much visual evidence of controlled explosions, and as exp construction engineer, the concrete columns and RF Lift shafts would support upper floors, the facade, unless someone knows otherwise was non structural - wouldn't make sense to any construction professional to build this way. 4. The other 2 planes are even less convincing due to plain obviousness, required accuracy, and no debris - the accuracy of the Pentagon is just unfathomable 5. Helicopters were on the scene, not helping, but where was the Defence Force ? Asleep obviously. 6. WTC7, come on ?? Thats the points you need to know in my view. Something is seriously not stacking up here. BUT This was definately NOT to win public sympathy for an invasion on Islam. The real goal was something bigger ... It has to be $$$$$ related in the end. It has to be ????
  16. There's a guy on here, who is a pilot - be good to hear his take on this - I've heard it's virtually impossible to guide those aircraft so accurately. I never thought about computerised guidance eg. GPS control - did we have that in those days ?
  17. Gas Engineers ... They don't half make a Crisis out of a Drama
  18. I just bought it, only at Argos, but it's a page turner so far. The school romances took me right back. Great uncomplicated Days. Cheers, will give you a full review once finished. HMcG
