  1. I think that narrative is already being forged... he is an agent of Putin. Bringing strikes and chaos just when we need to pull together and accept all the tory pay cuts to defeat Russia. I've been saying it for a while, the UK media is bigger part of the problem than the corrupt politicians. Look at the role they played in 2014 and look at the role they played in the Salmond stitch-up just as two small examples. They are utterly vile and Kay Burley is a poster-cunt for them all. Fiona Bruce, Nick Robinson, Jackie Bird etc etc ... fucking scumbags. I've shat better. edit: another one John Sopel hideous cunt.
  2. Who is the vile cunt he is talking to? He makes very good points about fares being pegged to inflation but workers wages are not, plus about the huge public subsidies these scummy companies receive, plus about the private equity vultures who want to buy them exactly for this reason. It is a classic Tory racket.
  3. Sturgeon’s Nonce Party. The double standard is very obvious. https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2022/06/standards/ Fuck the SNP.
  4. The guy is a nonce. https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/victim-of-snp-mps-sexual-harassment-slams-party-for-failures/ funny how now it is a conspiracy. πŸ˜€
  5. Well, I am not sure I would be getting worked up based on anything George Monbiot writes. I can't recall but it may have been Syria where he showed himself up badly. I mean really spouting full on neocon shite like it was gravy. I quoted him on here around 2014 on Land Reform and I regret that. This article is very much what he does. I'd take it all with massive pinch of salt.
  6. Well fuck I am amazed to actually find one even if it is online. πŸ˜€ Where is the best place to get your (full set) teeth done dezmondo? Turkey? USA? Somewhere else (not the UK)?
  7. Getting into the spirit of the thread I'd go for Sam Allardyce or perhaps Harry Redknapp (he's only 75) if Big Sam is not available. edit: is Terry Butcher working?
  8. I knew the amount of money paid in bribes just to award the world cup to a country so completely unsuited to hosting it must have been truly massive but amazingly I read there that is actually illegal to be gay in Qatar! Man this adds a whole new level of insanity to it. The bribes must have been so super massive that people just got that point where they would literally have sucked Satan's cock for that amount of money. Incredible. πŸ˜€
  9. Before the Ukraine game I was praising Steve Clarke. So I am not going to about face and start slagging the guy now. (Plus I dont give a monkey's about the Nations League.) Personally I think we got double fucked with the delay. It drained all our momentum going into the game and then we got double fucked as the Nations League games were then straight after when the disappointment of the Ukraine defeat was very fresh. My only criticism of Clarke is that he seems too slow to react to things in the game and makes changes too late when things are clearly not working. McLeish was really good at that and was again much more aggressive.
  10. Completely agree. I suspect a lot of the vitriol on here played a part. All the nasty slavering pish about him being an alcoholic was totally over the top. He played to win McLeish, much more aggressive than we are used to. It was high risk but it was a good approach IMHO. This is where I think the fans make it worse... ach well water under the bridge now.
  11. Whatever. Your McLeish posts were particularly vicious and snide I recall.
  12. Gosh who could that be. I am pretty sure he is online right now. (More than one. Both online within the last 20 minutes.)
  13. I actually forgot the game was on today. Just not interested in this Nations League pish. Players must feel gutted after losing so meekly to Ukraine and maybe just could not lift themselves for what is a mickey mouse tournament.
  14. Well I think we are witnessing a huge pivotal event (one way or the other) in geo-political history. It also could be the start of a nuclear war, much bigger chance than anything I lived through growing up during the cold war. It will also have huge economic ramifications which have yet to really or fully manifest. There is also the question of who is actually 'winning'. I read the russian media and listen to a couple of Russian bloggers and overall (IMHO) their media is much more honest than ours. The BBC is just running with every thing the Ukrainians are telling them so it is mostly propaganda pieces. I was surprised to hear that Russia is only using about 10% of their armed forces. We are sending Ukraine longer range missiles knowing full well they will be used to target population centres in Russia and the Russians have promised to retaliate 'striking targets never hit before'. Look at the foamers on this thread. It is off the scale as far propaganda levels, brings out the absolute nutters and outright mis-info geezers. So I think we are in the middle of a massively important event, the true significance of which is yet to unfold. That is why at least I post about it. It is after all the subject of the thread. The good thing is events will eventually clarify and we will eventually see for ourselves what happened. If we live.
  15. πŸ˜€ The guy is an absolute nugget. Here are his (ignored) replies to my posts or posts about me just in the last few pages, I got bored looking after that. It is me ignoring him but sadly some folk just don't get the message.
  16. Funny looking back on this thread. That was posted in 2016 and of course Trump went on to win and thwarted their plans. Roll forward 6 years and replace Hillary with Biden and it did not take long did it.
  17. I was definitely scared of the punks that used to hang out on that little alcove on Union St / Union Terrace Gardens in Aberdeen as a nipper in the 70's. I bet if we could back in time and meet them now they'd be a right bunch of soft poser arseholes. πŸ˜€
  18. Russia will retain all the areas of Ukraine that consider themselves ethnic Russian. So the East but also the entire south coast to Moldova (where Russia has a key military base). They will legally legitimize this through referendum in each region / oblast (just as Scotland planned to do to leave the UK). What remains of Ukraine they will not give too much of fuck about other than to make sure it represent zero threat to them now and going forward. By the time that negotiation happens Russia will be even more dominant in Ukraine.
  19. Contrary to everything in the Western media Ukraine is losing badly. Empire of lies? Russia will retain the entire south coast of Ukraine / the black sea all the way to Moldova. Cutting off rump-Ukraine to the black sea completely. Just Odessa to take... and it is Russian so it will fall willingly. What remains of Ukraine will be carved up by its neighbours with perhaps a small US funded neo nazi statelet somewhere in amongst the scraps. As Ukraine's usefulness wanes so does our interest in it... as this thread evidences. IMHO history will look back on this as the pivotal moment in the decline of the American empire. The Ukrainians were utterly used by the West. Hopefully they wake up to it like the Chechens did.
  20. Saw this on Craig Murray's recent article. https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2022/06/a-revolutionary-act/ I missed it at the time.
  21. I can't think of any tangible reason why they did agree. The war steadily intensified after Russia invaded. The fighting was relatively 'light' when the game was supposed to be played. It was never going to be over anytime soon. The UK government is part of a group of nations flooding the Ukraine with weapons. So what did it achieve? Other than to rob us of our momentum and psychologically put us on the back foot when the game was eventually played. We were on a real roll at the time but you would not know it watching that game the other night. I stopped watching after an hour... we barely landed a blow. It is hard to say why exactly looking from the outside.
