  1. produce a one off blue sleeve edition and the problem is solved (or is that against fifa rules?). They might also have a collectors item on their hands. Wait for the genuine original versrions available exclusivley on ebay from one guy who has an unlimited supply.
  2. There might be a tiny bit of truth in that but you also need to back it up with the ability to pick out your man with the pass.
  3. Some people let their kids watch this... I watched the first episode then planned to save the rest up and binge it. I'm now not sure if that's really a good idea for psychiatric reasons.
  4. I went to 1 home match in the last campaign and im aiming for 0 this time. 100% due to the ticket prices. £17 for Malta is like some kind of weird joke. It's going to take a dramatic change to get me back. Tickets for the last france game against Bulgaria were priced from €15. I guess it's because we're slightly better than them.
  5. Hated and looked down on by the ruling elite. But not by the normal man on the street though. We need to feel bad for those guys because they feel the same as us about this situation but have no way out. There's a sense of inevitability about independence now that i like (barring some kind of threat/upheaval that "brings us all together again"). Given the extreme right wing government now, don't be surprised if we see some kind of new "problems" emerging in the Falklands or somewhere.
  6. I'm needing a new laptop. Was about to buy one here in euros but then I realised the UK is like a massive dicount outlet store right now so im waiting for my next visit. And I can get a qwerty. Brilliant!
  7. Should probably cry. I would if I had such a basic lack of empathy. But then you wont cry because you have a basic lack of empathy.
  8. 11 guys belting it out in unison is at least a good indicator of cohesion and can probably create it too. Doesn't do any harm anyway. Probably does good. We don't even give ourselves that very simple advantage because we're the only country in the world where singing the anthem is ridiculed by and embarrassing for half of the population .
  9. If this was sensible soccer on the amiga and you started a campaign like this would you have rebooted the computer by now? YES
  10. Nope. Team cohesion is good. Pretty basic sports psychology.
  11. There's something about the cohesion and passion of a team that all sing the anthem that is linked to the performance. And that can lead to scoring more goals. Look at the welsh and iclandic teams at the euros.
  12. It will sell out. Even the most embarassed about being scottish nawbags will be snapping up tickets for that one.
  13. I've decided to stop with the mens team (broken record on here this week I know...) and divert my cash and support to the women's team, who appear to deserve it a bit more. The men don't appear to give a toss (most of them can't even be arsed singing the anthem), they're millionaires off the back of a very mediocre level of sporting ability (some of them are even fat) and it costs a shitload to watch them. F#ck that. The women, on the other hand, are actually achieving things now and they deserve our support (being the best fans on the world and all that...). So shouldn't we all save up the money we would have spent travelling to see the men and head on mass to the women's euros next year? I know the SFA will still get our money from supporting the women's team but at least there would be some deserved investment in a set up thay appears to be working.
  14. Because a lot of people on here are old and stuck in their ways. They still remember when Scotland won regularly and when the police decided the ko times with the SFA. They certainly don't know about any rule changes that happened after 1997, which includes the week of football.
  15. Being a character isn't really that prevalent these days. I think the battle for the coolest supporter award kind of down plays attention seeking and promotes sneering at the others (dress code, shoes, choice of drink, selection of songs etc). It also involves a lot of folding of the arms.
  16. Don't be so f'ing reasonable. It's a pishy wee poor country with a funny name and a multi coloured flag. We should be putting 5 past them. In the first half.
  17. To be fair, this is saving me a packet of money thsy would have been spent on a trip to london.
  18. They better not have the gaul to play that music if we do score.
  19. Lithuania are our level. It's unbelievable the amount if tartan army who still think we should be 3-0 up at half time. Wont lose this match though...
  20. The most vehemently anti independence 'friend' on my facebook just declared he would vote for independence if there was a referendum tomorrow. This isn't a brain dead mouth breathing Rule Britannia footballl fan unionist, this guy is a well educated middle class "i'm alright jack" unionist. If he's now changing his mind I've got no doubt that significant things are happening.
  21. I think they're aiming to buy/win the champions league...
  22. When the draw was made I predicted that celtic would concede at least 20 goals over all the games. After tonight we might be half way.
  23. What's the worst pumping in champs league history?
