  1. Perhaps you don't want him to fail but many will. McKay will play for Scotland, not many of the current Rangers first team will, although Wallace has a chance. The other somewhat further down the line is Ryan Hardie. Good luck to them, I say. :-)
  2. I think the problem here is many would like McKay to fail even at the expense of having a very good Scotland player. At the least they'd need him to move to another club before they could even set eyes on him without having some sort of haemorrhage.
  3. http://m.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/13879799.Rangers_boss_Mark_Warburton_tips_Barrie_McKay_to_play__at_the_highest_level__after_impressing_at_Ibrox/?ref=mr&lp=7 This lad won't be far away after a couple of months in the SPFL. Pace, vision, balance, awareness.
  4. To put Murray in there is a disgrace - and surely reveals a loser, glass half-empty mentality?
  5. Not quite the point of my OP. Our downfall coincided with his omission. He is quite similar to Barry Ferguson on the ball in the way he can retain possession, although not as dominant or quite as assured. He has a bit more flair though. We miss that sort of player. Brown is erratic and can't control the tempo and Morrison tries to dribble out of situations.
  6. Nope. He would have made a difference in Georgia where we couldn't string two passes together.
  7. Not too popular on here but our form nosedive coincided with him being out the team. He's comfortable taking the ball from defenders and nudging the play along with the occasional Hollywood pass. He's suited to international football and made us tick.
  8. It might be worth a try. I can see positives and negatives. It would allow Mulgrew and Robertson to play and give closer support to Fletcher up front via another striker. We'd probably make a hash of the offside trap.
  9. Northern Ireland would be good. Incidentally, Lafferty would get a game for us.
  10. McCarthy would have been a good option.
  11. I have a need to hit google translate. This could be a new low.
  12. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ricky-sbragia-ive-no-idea-6620236 Dear, oh dear - and doe a deer for good measure.
  13. Not seen this player, but an intriguing one. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-3209579/Everton-set-sign-Partick-Thistle-starlet-Jack-Hendry-week.html
  14. The big French lad destroyed Paterson on Saturday. He's got a lot to do.
  15. Well said Maloney. I hope Gauld puts his place under immense pressure and the team reaps the benefits.
  16. Ritchie was awful against Gibraltar. Frequently caught in possession against very poor players.
  17. Lee Wallace will be back in contention. He's good defensively. Admittedly he sometimes looks like the worst player I've ever seen and at other times outstanding. He's big if nothing else.
  18. I'm not sure if it's the back four or the two defensive midfielders but somethings not right. Bring in a specialist defensive coach. Strachan can't know as much about defending as a defender? Add Gough, Weir or Miller to the coaching team.
  19. let's play Northern Ireland and Serbia.
  20. There maybe some psychological problem, but until our technique matches our competitors it won't be possible to tell.
  21. Everyone wants rid of them but how? Government intervention or mass protest are surely the only options?
