Yes totally agree with that and other than jovic who is sub at Madrid and kolarov old at inter all other teams are equivalent of villa and Southampton and rangers celtic. Arsenal.liverpool and man utd where our players are playing every week are huge clubs where they do not have .believe me they will be concerned

I know this will be a hard game but the Serbian football people who are seemingly expecting a win as are their fans but anyone with a bit of football intelligence will look at our players and there will be doubts. Robertson.liverpool cooper captain leeds. Mctominay man utd. Tierney arsenal. McGinn aston villa. Armstrong Southampton. Plus celtic and rangers players who are doing well in Europe. Is there any of there players at bigger clubs than some of those? The answer is no and everything is speculation and also what will make them worried. We are worrying them and that is facts.

Same gk defense as against israel for me other than Tierney for cooper.midfield of jack and McGinn with Christie and fraser supporting dykes. Jack is best passer in squad now as McGregor imo has dropped and mcginn and christie have to start. We have other options that wouldn't concern me either such as if cooper.mcgregor.armstrong were starters.

Yep I agree with some of your points and I respect his career due to me being 48. What I'm meaning is players will have a lot more respect for instance a ryan Giggs or Graeme souness due to their career than steve Clarke. Doubted he was in Chelsea's best 11 and a quick google showed he wasn't. Even if some journalist had named him in it the players now wouldn't even know him I'd imagine. What I took from it was that 343 does not work as our 2 centre mids in 1st game jack and mcgregor and 2nd mclean and fleck were over ran. if doing this i think it needs a 352 with mcburnie and dykes up front and going a bit longer. What I want though is back to a 433 as this allows as others say robertson to have someone in front of him id go with Marshall Tierney Cooper Mckenna Robertson Mctominay Jack Mcginn Christie Dykes Fraser Jack looked the best of our midfielders over last 2 games and as he is main player at rangers his confidence is up to receive ball anywhere hopefully gilmour gets back in chelsea team and he will take his position and run our midfield. What i really noticed was that although we say our midfield is strong fleck and mclean looked really poor and i feel not good enough. mcgregor is out of form and there is not much between him and jack but at this time jack is better.. This team has only 1 player (tierney) outwith his natural position and clarke has to play him there as he is not good enough ala Ronaldo obviously to have a full team designed for him and robertson to be playing. That team imo would beat israel easily but also we are up against it versus norway due in the main to haaland as all the rest are similar in players to us i feel but he is just exceptional. As always im optimistic but also do believe clarke is out his depth and our media got him the job because he got kilmarnock 3rd in our league which is laughable. No one will convince me that players from manchester united liverpool and arsenal etc and even glasgow big 2 will have total respect for him.

that looks gd to me but swap dykes for mcburnie and jack for mctominay. Jack and mcgregor as clarke said worked well together last games and that imo is all our best players on park with gs subs to come on when match opens up later on. Tierney will still be able to provide width on right i feel not as good as on left obviously but still be gd plus he can cut in and he has a powerful shot. That team on paper should be able to compete with most. Games are in the norm won in midfield and all of our players there can pass the ball and keep it which is so important. Only downside is 2 leftfooted players playing on right hand side gives imbalance.

Lyndon Dykes defo should be in. brophy not up to it but may in future. griffiths relying on past glories at this time. defense is scaring me but i feel it will be hanley and cooper. i see gallagher every week at motherwell and feel he could maybe play right back in a 4 as he has played on the right of our 3 man defense on a few occassions. Im not saying he could but hed be as gd as odonnell anyway.

If sfa had anything about them they should have made agreement with all teams in pot d before draw was made that if whoever was at home in semis or final they had to give at least 5k away tickets each. Norwegians im sure would have brought that to final not sure about serbia.

Totall agree with you here players are arseholes. seemingly 3k going to cyprus for fukall but they cant be arsed. As I have previously said clarke does not have enough kudos or standing on game to deal with them or does his assistants. He and they might be good coaches but they certainly imo do not have backing of players. Getting kilmarnock 3rd is no big deal to players who see themselves as better. Strachan had gd career both player and manager as did Walter Smith as manager and they are only ones in last 20 years to have had any backing from players. I hope im wrong but clarke is same as levein which is a nobody!

I get your point as ive seen him twice v motherwell and hes looked dangerous. He actually played more wide in those games to compete with our smallee full backs so i dont know about a target man. i am of same opinion as yourself that he could be a bargain for someone and i will be keeping an eye on him.

its quite simple imo. our players arent good enough and our manager certainly isnt. coz he got kilmarnock to 3rd and done ok v celtic and rangers is laughable. same appointment as levein. we have some gd players but they do not respect the manager. main problem however as is known is we have no cbs or a cf to score goals plus now confidence is rock bottom

gilmour is head and shoulders above every other player in u21s and although we beat croatia they played us off park and we scored 2 late goals. gilmour is only player that i have saw for ages that has the confidence in his ability that he believes he is best player on pitch. brilliant to see

yep because they are doing ok. our support is/was more demanding so more pressure plus the negativity surrounding us just now is nost ive ever saw and im 47. only thing that will change it is nations league where we will sell out. even though defense is shit all other positions are strong apart ftom most important one/striker. clarke also i dont believe has enough kudos. it maybe worked with kilmarnock players but i doubt it works wuth player who are at big clubs.

totally agree changing manager every couple of years doesnt work. what i was meaning was clarke will not get respect that say mourinho would get. i know thats maybe pie in the sky but those sort of people used to be candidates. we have no cash for them or ambition to get there. celtic are our best by a mile but in grand scheme of things they are a pot 2 or 3 europa league team which then puts our national teams performance in perspective
