4 of us also got hospitality for all 3 games, haven’t been a travel club member for 15 years, so no chance of tickets unless we paid a fortune to a ticket website. So like yourself we bought ours before we qualified with the “Follow Your Team” option. ( Full refund if we never made it ). You forgot the free food and drink access for 90 minutes after the games as well 😂, I fully intend to get my moneys worth.

Season 23/24

Hilarious penalty for Rangers. Would love to be a fly in the wall in Big Ramys house 2-2 😂 nope 2-1 VAR 😂 -
Booked them for our return flight but not Flex Premium. They fly direct to Jersey on summer Saturdays from Dusseldorf, 1 hour 20 minute flight, leaves at 1300 and back in Jersey for 1320 as we get our hour back. So back home in plenty time to go to pub for our Play Off game later that day. 😄

The only small consolation for some Saints fans was that when we went 2-0 up Bet365 paid out. 😂 -

Was that written by the same bloke who’s done some of the classic Rangers statements over the years? -

Killie V St Mirren shaping up to be a cracker next weekend. With over a week to go looks like Saints are on course to sell over 3000 tickets. Killie fans will come out in force for this one also, i'd imagine they're heading for their biggest crowd of the season.👍 -
St Mirren are currently above Killie with a smaller budget, so why not Steven Robinson?

Next Newcastle manager? -
KT played full 90 minutes yesterday in a 3-0 away win to Villareal.

Jersey - London City Airport - Frankfurt on the 13th. Train to Koblenz, based there Airbnb for 15 nights, early morning train to Munich day of game. Took a gamble with the location we booked months ago, paid off as Cologne and Stuttgart within easy train commute. In between Scotland games probably train it to a couple of other host city’s ( Düsseldorf, Frankfurt ) for a day in the fan zones watching other games.
-
Grant We've booked a night in Augsburg day f the game, seemed a better option than getting a train back to Koblenz in the middle of the night, hopefully catch up with you lads, Im sure Mark has your number.👍

Oh and it wasn’t me who lost the passports 😂not guilty

Allegedly 👀 As I have no recollection of these events then how do I know you’re telling the truth. 😂

Guernsey and Jersey boys mixing, what could possibly go wrong 👀 We’ll have Marky’s sister with us who’s the popular prolific bird poster on here so she’ll look after us. Be good to catch up again mate 👍

Load of us based on Koblenz and booked Airbnb’s for 2 weeks, delighted with the draw, Munich just over 4 hours and a great train ride, Cologne hour and a half, Stuttgart just over 2 hours. Happy to avoid 6-7 hour train journeys to Hamburg, Leipzig and Berlin. So our gamble paid off. Me and Marky ( who occasionally posts on here ) done a wee recce 8 days away in September ( Düsseldorf, Cologne, Koblenz and Munich ). And we’ve ended up with 2 of those host venues. Despite being the host nation I think Germany are one of the poorest of the pot 1 teams, nothing to fear from Hungary or Switzerland, the 4 best third place teams qualify for the last 16, one win could well do that, 4 points definitely, great chance of progressing. I’m away for a lie down.

All our games have been confirmed on UEFA website as 21:00 kick offs

When St Mirren played Rangers in the 2009 Scottish Cup semi final the Police instructed all of the St Mirren supporters buses had to head out along to the M8/M74 junction, head South initially and approach Hampden from the East. As you probably all know Paisley lies to the West of Hampden, what should have been a 20-25 minute bus journey ( with several different optional routes ) became an hour and a half for some supporters, many of whom missed the start of the game. Logistical madness, the reason why? So Rangers supporters could have “their end”. Fkn joke. “edited to change it from the 2010 league cup final, got my Hampden trips mixed up”

Frank McDougall passes away
Jersey Jim replied to Ally Bongo's topic in Football related - Discussion of non TA football
Brilliant striker for St Mirren and a hero of mine when I was at school. Another one in a long list of players Aberdeen poached from Saints, well I use that term loosely as I believe it was a record transfer fee between Scottish clubs at the time. what was the name of the pub he had in Aberdeen? I remember Saints played Dons in a midweek fixture, I was back from Jersey at the time and the supporters bus stopped there and we all piled in to see “our” legend, he was delighted as he made a good few quid for a couple of hours and was completely humbled that he was so popular with Paisley Buds. RIP.
