Payment still not going through with either debit or credit card and with vpn switched off and on. Wondered if maybe its cos my invoice address on my account i had to set up on French website is UK address?
-
Thanks both, ill try taking vpn off at end
-
I have been trying to buy tickets in home end using vpn but when try to confirm order with payment details nothing happens. Anyone else also experienced this? Dunno if cos my card is UK its getting blocked
-
I think its the French FA who have mucked us about here, not Supporters Club. Heard they wanted to give us even less than the figure we finally got so presumably delayed due to these negotiations. Im on 12/13 points so trying to weigh up buying a £68 home end ticket or gamble on away end.

Spot on. Though i am not sure my ticker would take Scotland still needing a point in final game! -

4 0 now. Is a Spain win good or not for us? -
Dream Qualification scenario... 12th September 2023
Gala Tartan Army (Borders) replied to Bzzzz's topic in TA specific
Still think Spain will come out on top of group - they rested/rotated a few guys against us and won’t take any further chances with their line up. They will be right up for it against us.- 29 replies

Good point - i still think Brighton could be a great move for him, just needs given a chance and to then take it.

Scottish players in action 21/22

The lad Doak is very exciting but im bit wary of this type of hype, with many other next big things never making it. -
Really annoyed me this story. Playing for Scotland should be a privilege not a money grabbing exercise. As far as i can tell, the women are now treated equally in all aspects. There maybe were issues in past (Julie Fleeting documentary showed how little support they got back in 90s/2000s) but not now. How far do you go back? Think your right about whose instigating this, in my opinion she isnt exactly in a position to be demanding payouts after some of her team's failures in recent years. If successful this will take money out of game which we need to help improve standard of both mens and womens game. I have been to some Scotland womens games with young family recently but my opinion of some people in this team has changed and certainly dont see them as role models so wont be back.

Scotland Ukraine. Will it go head?….

Doesnt sound like Poland game has been confirmed yet - Polish FA saying could yet go ahead with training camp. -

I would be amazed if we qualify now - our record in the second game of double headers is woeful without the winning team from other semi final having 2 and a half months to prepare for one game at home. Appreciate this is all in context of a war going on in Ukraine so really this issue is completely unimportant, and that we may end up getting a bye if the war does not end before June (really hope the war ends asap). But in a football context feels very unfair. -

100 per cent agree. Massive advantage to Wales or Austria who can rest up players while Scotland/Ukraine potentially have 120 minutes to play 3/4 days before. -
Agree. i would be happy going in, for 12.30pm but we have the 11 to 11.30am time slot and no idea what meant to do for at least 2.5 hours. Uefa website says they 'strongly recommend' you stick to your timeslot. No mention of not sticking to your slot meaning you wont get in but still feels a risk. Appreciate lot of folk dont have tickets and that we are still in midst of pandemic but 2.5 to 3 hours before a game seems over the top.

I would have him in regardless. Same with Gilmour, appreciate not played much in recent months but started against Fulham and Man City and played well so coming into a bit of form/game time at right time.

Watched the majority of the Czech Israel game. Czechs well on top first half and probably should have been out of sight. But Israel much better second and created some good chances. Zahavi is a class act, he had a great effort two minutes from time which I thought was in but the keeper saved brilliantly. Solomon also a very good player who was dangerous all game. Can see us struggling out there to be honest on back of two tough away games with likes of Christie and Tierney (our 2 best players today) probably needing to rested.

Aitchison? Think he went on loan to Forest Green Rovers last season and scored a few. Frustrating thing is Griffiths and Fletcher should be in squad if one pulled their finger out and the other made himself available again.
-
McBurnie was not in squad for Sheffield Utd's friendly v Hearts yesterday so assume he has a knock. Paterson will have been brought in as a striker. I would have called up Fraser Hornby from u21s - made his debut today for Reims in Ligue 1 and looked promising whenever I have seen him.

Watched majority of all three games for first time at weekend. We played well, but was particularly impressed by Richard Gough, Gary McAllister and Stuart McCall. Scotland support looked superb throughout.
