  1. Sevco could do the community a service by offering to host the marches at Ibrox park. Free entrance for the brethren, plenty of space to perfect their marching steps and singing in tune without disruption to the rest of Scottish society. No banning order required.
  2. And with good reason too!! They're gloriously unique. Western Isles punk sung in an authentic Hebridean accent - mostly English lyrics. Check them out on YouTube.
  3. Don't think it's unprecedented - it seems to be a regular thing that's part of their culture. There was an interview on Channel 4 about it earlier in the week.
  4. Don't believe what you've been told, it's a well worthwhile trip provided you are open-minded and do your research about the local culture before booking. Was there in 2004, and would have been going on this one but for the travel difficulties. Indeed this was potentially the most attractive away trip of the group in my opinion.
  5. On the contrary, the recent conversation has been highly revealing about the tolerance levels towards sectarian abuse of Scotland players by a cross section of our fellow posters. Why suppress it?
  6. Well done!! Pleased it all worked out for you in the end.
  7. Was superb at his day job tonight against one of Europe's finest (Alaba). Got forward intelligently a few times but improvement needed on his crossing. Unlucky with his shot which was well placed and well saved. 9/10.
  8. That's fair enough - it's obvious that he divides opinion amongst the support. SC should clearly be looking to improve the RB berth in the team after finding us a reliable striker. However if he deems that SOD is the most trustworthy of his options for major fixtures at this point, then that's good enough for me. He worked with him for two full seasons after all, so SC will know better than any of us if he is the best option available at this time.
  9. His brother is a priest, although the relevance of it defeats me as well.
  10. You haven't got it right aaid. The criticism of O'Donnell is coming from supporters of Scotland who are looking for a scapegoat before an important qualification fixture has even started. Let that sink in.
  11. Team confirmed: Gordon O'Donnell/Hendry/Hanley/Tierney/Robertson Gilmour/McGinn/McGregor Adams/Dykes Same as Wembley bar Gordon for Marshall and Hendry for McTominay
  12. With this level of encouragement from his own supporters, he may well need his brother's prayers!!!
  13. Clarke originally gave O'Donnell permission to attend his brother's ordination in Rome. However, by the time the ordination came around, Alessio was in charge and revoked the permission.
  14. Patterson is fast and comfortable on the ball going forward, that's true. The issue is his unproven reliability as a defender. It speaks volumes that his club manager does not trust him against even middling sides ahead of Tavernier. Until he gets regular games at first team level to improve his development as a defender, the Clarke will prefer O'Donnell for fixtures like Austria away. And right now, it's the correct decision.
  15. Hopefully tonight finally buries the nonsense about Robertson or Tierney being adequate right backs.
  16. Granted he usually is, however tonight his commentary has been annoyingly cliched.
  17. According to Ally there was no doubt that it was Scotland's best move of the game.
  18. Ally 'ah'll tell you what Ian' McCoist has been insufferable tonight.
  19. Terrible move for Christie. Nowhere near as good as he or his father thinks he is. He'll be back at Inverness in 2-3 years.
  20. You're entitled to your opinion on SOD as a footballer but the moron comment is needless and unwarranted. It's the medical staff that have a serious question to answer in this instance.
  21. It's hard to know what on earth is going through people's heads a) doing it and b) allowing themselves to be filmed doing it. Assuming all three have jobs, that's three careers and three futures ripped up and thrown into a bin. As they will find out when they turn up to work today.
  22. Wouldn't use them anyway, but especially not when the clear advice is not to travel. Save your money, and have a few more beers in your local while watching the game. And I say that as a regular traveller to away games pre-pandemic.
