Sevco could do the community a service by offering to host the marches at Ibrox park. Free entrance for the brethren, plenty of space to perfect their marching steps and singing in tune without disruption to the rest of Scottish society. No banning order required.

Clarke originally gave O'Donnell permission to attend his brother's ordination in Rome. However, by the time the ordination came around, Alessio was in charge and revoked the permission.

Patterson is fast and comfortable on the ball going forward, that's true. The issue is his unproven reliability as a defender. It speaks volumes that his club manager does not trust him against even middling sides ahead of Tavernier. Until he gets regular games at first team level to improve his development as a defender, the Clarke will prefer O'Donnell for fixtures like Austria away. And right now, it's the correct decision.

Hopefully tonight finally buries the nonsense about Robertson or Tierney being adequate right backs.
