  1. TBF Belgium's probably my favourite country to go drinking in. Came across this beer last time was there (March), tried it for the hell of it as it was on tap and fancied a change and ooft... braw! Home | Tripel Karmeliet https://tripelkarmeliet.com/ Strange thing, don't seem to get hangovers over there.
  2. Must recommend a visit to Bar Des Amis in both... braw and the beer is magic!
  3. If you've got an SSC account there's tickets gone on sale this morning.
  4. He certainly had that about him when he played for the wee team but in a Scotland jersey his discipline and composure has been excellent. Will be interesting, over the years we've been undone too many times by "one man teams"...
  5. Well they don't believe in manifesto commitments do they? So are they planning to block the Welsh plan too because of glass or is it just Scotland's?
  6. Is the glass issue (approved in Wales but not in Scotland) true? I've not been following this story.
  7. Best way to deal with Haaland? stick Porteous on him for the game? I'm no tactical genius but what I've seen he tends to be less effective when he's got someone all over him... Porteous out of all the defensive bunch is the most energetic and enthusiastic...
  8. Aye, I hear *anal Street is expensive these days.. .
  9. Biggest thing I've noticed about his game. He hardly ever gives the ball away and is very hard to get off the ball. What he's lacking in pace he makes up with his heid, reads the game so well. HUGE player for us and easily player of the season.
  10. Got mine on Tuesday. I hate these kind of tickets, on a4 paper. Why couldn't they just email them to us and save the paper and stamp? security?
  11. Couldn't agree more. A blatant lack of ambition, self respect and dignity. To think that it's an acceptable position for a nation to be in to have your own country and people cowering meekly in the shadow of a master that sneers and looks down at you at the slightest opportunity, keeps your money and gives pocket money to survive, asset strips you and uses you and your children for it's wars, for me, is beyond pathetic. This is why I dislike yoons so much, that attitude, that like of pride and self respect is alien to me and always will be. I don't even think it's nationalism, I think it's plain common sense and self respect. Generations of brainwashing has damaged Scotland's mental health.
  12. Nae wonder he's was a wee bit off of late, what a crazy character, hope she gets the help she needs and hope Billy has got his headspace back and freedom to concentrate on loving playing fitba again!! https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/newslondon/premier-league-stars-mason-mount-and-billy-gilmour-stalked-by-devil-baby-model/ar-AA1bCfPA?ocid=entnewsntp&cvid=2b1f3c21ab494f32866f659b05e2f9fc&ei=22
  13. If you're wanting to know ever MORE about them I'd strongly recommend getting yourselves on one of these tours.. Glasgow Football Tour - Home
  14. I would suggest that that is open to challenge due to access to the voluntary aspect being an entirely different process in a modern society. Legal and voluntary at the time (sadly), I'd argue that that cannot apply to eternity given the differences in the constitution in the modern and supposed democratic set up of the "UK". Legally there MUST be a way to challenge that. They cannot argue that a voluntary "union" is legally unchallengeable by the people of one part of it.
  15. I agree, I wouldn't even allow tabasco to take the edge aff it.
  16. I hope you saw this... the site of the First Hampden Park, the first purpose built fitba stadium in the world!
  17. It wasn't! you're maybe getting mixed up with the first international match being in 1872. Cathkin, (2nd Hampden) was opened by Queens Park in 1884, the First Hampden Park, across the road from Cathkin was opened in 1873... 150 years ago... LOTS of info here if you're interested... The Hampden Collection – Celebrating, Promoting & Protecting the 3 Hampden Parks and All Who Played On Them
  18. I'd rather eat a mug of hot dug shite than go and watch Man U at Murrayfield.
  19. Would the ICJ not take a position on this? UN Resolution 1514XV & Millenium Declaration Res 55/2 would apply surely?
  20. The fact is they'll keep moving the goalposts to suit their agenda as they did with the 40% threshold in 1979 and as they have ever since. We need to stop pishing about with an aggressive master/colonial state and take this to international courts. To tell us there is no legal route to independence is in itself against the law, at the very least we can force their hand on that IF we present it properly.
