  1. The guy who hired McLeish is just as culpable, once confirmed McLeish is to go the hounding of McRae and Petrie needs to continue. Sack the board.
  2. Which just so happen to be exactly 90° set from our flat earth as to appear round when we view them.
  3. Seems a lot of folk here going to same gigs as me! Some month for them. Kasabian at the hydro Shed Seven at O2 The Charlatans at the o2 Gerry Cinnamon at the Barras.
  4. They also seemed to be slow to release blocks, someone not familiar with system could check see all the greyed out areas and only limited availability in others and think they'd missed out.
  5. Album is really good. Sold out two shows at the Barras as well with the 2nd one selling out in 5mins.
  6. Then why are you posting videos to try and convince people of your point of view?
  7. Got tickets for Kasabian this morning, seemed to be a real hassle for some reason. Standing not available right away and only getting offered crap seats for a while. Liam Gallagher also announced this morning btw. Same night as The Charlatons which I already have tickets for though.
  8. That drumming is murder, to quote a good friend of mine "it's like a skeleton having a w@nk in a biscuit tin". Purpose of a drum corps is meant to be every one playing the same thing together...
  9. Not according to the info the SSC sent out. Says the bars will be open and serving alcohol.
  10. I probably won't be booing but we all know it's going to happen.
  11. Can't wait for the outrage when GSTQ gets its usual reception. They'll spin that as disrespecting armistice day as well.
  12. Remembrance is meant to be a respectful and sombre affair. Poppies on football shirts, on cars, card displays etc. is just tacky.
  13. Not the first time he's been in the papers. Bit of an attention seeker by the looks of it.
  14. Report on BBC website saying it was Broony who initiated it, although it is a quote from Mark McGhee... Also says its not a one off game. Maybe he just regrets his decision. No idea how anyone can say he turned his back.
  15. Its certainly dispelled it for me. Looks like our drop in supporters is beyond repair.
  16. Maybe taking a bit of a long road to get to my point to be fair... We all (well most) agree that teams should be given the opportunity to sell 50% of the tickets at a neutral ground, Aberdeen didn't want to allow Morton to attempt this which played a part in the game being at Hampden, not fair for some to just say Morton "demanded" it be at Hampden when there has been an accumulation of factors. The fact that the 2 clubs couldn't agree made Hampden the only option. Kick off time on the other hand... This isn't a justification but I'll try explain why we said 10K, this was uncharted territory for us and I genuinely thought we'd have had 10k easily when we made the semi-final. This would certainly have been the case 10 years ago. Unfortunately it looks as though years of gross mismanagement and a series of very poor managerial appointments has taken its toll on our support who have chucked it altogether and can't even be tempted back for a national semi. This has been the saddest thing to come out the whole affair for me. Considering the venue I though the atmosphere was still decent and I enjoyed mingling and chatting with 'Dons fans before and after the game and genuinely wish you all well for the rest of the season. McInnes is an absolute class act and hope you can hold onto him, was one of my hero's growing up and I'm still convince if Rangers hadn't pinched him we've have won the league in '96. I'm just glad we gave a good account of ourselves on the pitch, and if Quitongo had buried his chance at HT who knows... I won't mention the offside goal!
  17. That's not the point I'm making. I know, but it goes against what others have been arguing here, surely as the bigger team Celtic deserve more than 50% of the allocation? As the smaller team Aberdeen should just roll over and take it. Celtic fans within their right to argue that Aberdeen took around 11,000 to the semi then they shouldn't get anymore.
  18. M Because it's the right thing to do. Obviously Aberdeen should now only get 11,000 tickets for final as Celtic will take more fans. Or will that be different?
  19. If there was a word to describe how Morton are run you've absolutely nailed it with "amateurish". Our support is unpredictable though, wasn't that long ago we took 5000 to a scottish cup tie against Motherwell so can understand why we said 10k. Appears the Rae family have damaged the support beyond repair.
  20. I did say starting point of 50:50 every club playing in semi finals or finals should at least be entitled to try and sell half the ground. I'm not saying it's Aberdeen's fault whatsoever, only pointing out that they played a part in the situation. Something that appears to be a major issue admitting to!
  21. Better on a high horse than full of it. If Aberdeen had been willing to start at 50:50 ticket sales game would have been in Edinburgh. They weren't then blamed everybody else for game being at Hampden. Scottish football has got far more to be embarrassed about on a world stage than playing a semi at an empty Hampden.
  22. Classy. At at least your manager and fans at the game yesterday had a touch of class about them.
