Strange but true. Try and tell me it doesn't. The only reason the situation seems more fortunate is that 3 teams qualify from the group, otherwise we'd have been pumped oot tonight.... Germany strolled through tonight's game doing just enough to win. If they needed a goal they went and got one. I suspect they'd do the same regardless of whether they're already through or not. Aye, they (Germany) need a minimum of a point against the Irish, but their manager has said there is no way they will be playing for a draw. wellyman Posted September 8, 2015 Share Posted September 8, 2015 The only thing that fecks up the last 2 games is if the Irish beat the germans - we are more than capable of beating the poles but an irish win on the same night would mean they have nothing to play for in poland and a draw between the two would put us out.
