Kirk
I'll spend what I spend. It's just a couple days boozing. That's what I'm going by. Got some Euros and if I need more I'll get them. Hopefully put a couple of decent bookie lines on.
G1983
The first time I went to Dublin I didn't realise Temple Bar area was a tourist trap, so we spent 3 days drinking there just thinking that was normal for Dublin. I spent as much in that trip as I did in a similar trip to Oslo. Brutal. This time round I plan to be more sensible and drink in the less touristy areas. However, I've not set a budget. Whatever will be, will be...
John_B81
Taking 250 euros with me plus my card in case I need extra. Most of my drinking will be done at the ground on Saturday anyway so will save a bit there
EIFA10
'Here's how much money I have thread' Who gives a toss. You take what you can, and spend what you can afford to. Go enjoy yourself, stay safe, and remember it's not all about the drink. Agree on all points.
Goozay
I managed to find a little shop that changed my leftover German euros into Irish euros and was only 1% commission. Happy days. Eh? Huh? To be fair the trading of German/Italian/French Euros into Belgian/Dutch/Irish Euros has been a staple TAMB joke since the Noughties. File it alongside "I've just got my ticket through from the SFA for the Georgia game!" despite the fact our allocation hasn't been announced, the SFA haven't put them on sale and the match isn't till September. As for those on a budget heading to Dublin, I'd recommend getting a carry out and heading to St Stephen's Green or Merrion Square and Jake it up with a liquid picnic. Just mind and pick up after yourselves.
