kumnio
After todays attack in Tunis, the ongoing issues in many countries, especially Libya, Egypt and Syria, was 'democracy' worth it? It seems quite a bit more dangerous today.

Rossy
After todays attack in Tunis, the ongoing issues in many countries, especially Libya, Egypt and Syria, was 'democracy' worth it? It seems quite a bit more dangerous today. These are the dangers of forcing western democracy on countries and cultures that have never known real 'democracy' since the beginning of time. Anyway, when the west (the USA and UK) get involved in 'freeing' people, it's nothing to do with democracy....it's all about power, influence and control.
