Angus_Young
Going to Penrith is a risk in itself. Beautiful part of the country but the locals are interesting to say the least

Angus_Young
Ah, the sign makes sense, I've been to places like that before My work has a medical centre there that we can go to if recovering from an injury/operation. I went out for a pint on the middle weekend of my two week stint. Tried 3 or 4 boozers.....all the same.....utter loonballs
Toepoke
I think Peter Kay made a joke about that sign about 10 years ago....
Pyramid
Go down every now and then to the rheged centre. Cracking place for a night out, and drink is cheap as chips. I'm sure many followers of lower league sides will have been to the football ground, where one can enjoy a wee dram whilst watching the football. And who can forget the truckers stop dugs diner, the ultimate greasy spoon.
