Goozay
On the most recent episode of The Hampden Roar podcast, it was suggested that having a designated singing section at Hampden would help, as the atmosphere goes quiet if the team is underperforming. GroundsKeeper
Its been talked about for years. It would need co-ordination from SSC to allocate tickets. Brilliant idea, but for the aforementioned it won't happen. There was talk of removing the moat around hampden to bring the fans closer to the pitch. There will be alot of money floating about SFA from the euros and also because they own hampden. The SFA have come out and said there will ne NO MAJAR REDEVELOPMNENT WORK AT HAMPDEN. The atmosphere is flat because the results have been poor in the recent friendlies. Some folk argue its up to the fans to lift the team, but its a two way street. But the running moat behind the goals doesn't help in my opinion. Would that have made a difference against NI ? Doubt it. Clarke has a great competitive record but friendlies have been poor. But hand up who wants it the other way round ? Edited April 4 by GroundsKeeper
