EddardStark
Seems like with immediate effect. They will be focusing on Nordic and Dutch leagues only. Includes international matches.
John J McArdle
That’s a pain. I paid sixty quid for the Norway game thinking I’d get more out of it.
wanderer
Media jumped the gun a little..... the are pulling their non-sports side, its not a total pull out. Viaplay have a small side thing they do which is more a rival to Amazon Prime and Apple TV, that shows a bunch of Nordic-Noir movies and tv series (apart from the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, its a load of Stellan Skarsgård and Mads Mikkelsen movies I have never heard of), and documentaries on subjects like A-Ha.... This seems to be the channel that they are pulling from the UK, and looking to focus fully on sports going forward. BBC saying SFA and SPFL are fully paid up front, so its not quite SPL TV or Setanta quite yet..... Concerning that they confirm that they are operating at a loss, but if they did go bust (which at the moment is not happening) I imagine TNT or DZNE would step in.
