YesTA
Hopefully the strike doesn't happen but has potential to effect a lot of travel plans. Hopefully it can be sorted soon. Edited June 3, 2021 by YesTA
Texas Pete
Typical. There was some sort of pilots strike planned in France in 1998 just before the World Cup but it was called off at the last minute. Hopefully this will be the same.
Caledonian Craig
Don't bank on this being sorted. This is Serco we are talking about here - a Tory through and through company. The strike is due to no pay rise given to staff who worked throughout the pandemic putting their health at risk. It comes after Serco shared out £17.4 million from shares profits amongst shareholders and announced record profits - yet no pay rise for frontline staff who kept the service running when the only other sleeper service in the UK failed to run.
