Libertador-de-Escocia
I am considering taking my 6 year old son to the Georgia match & staying Glasgow overnight after the game. But I've never been to Ibrox before & when at Hampden usually walk back to the city centre. However I don't really want to have to do that sort of walk back this time if I can help it. I've looked for hotels in the area with not much joy. And want to make sure if we are walking anywhere nearby we dont end up walking through any area we shouldn't be. The other option is getting a taxi, but would they just end up stuck in the crowd of people walking. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Davied14
The Swallow Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Ibrox.
they've_been_suckered
The IBIS at Springfield Quay is cheap - has a KFC/Burger King nearby to keep the wee man happy
Libertador-de-Escocia
Thanks. Had a look at The Swallow Hotel. But think its already booked up. Will have a look at Springfield Quay. And check the distance from Ibrox.

deecie
GREAT Travelodge. As a useless aside, the bar by the Ski Slope in "Xscape" is really good.
scottincarlisle
Thanks. Had a look at The Swallow Hotel. But think its already booked up. Will have a look at Springfield Quay. And check the distance from Ibrox. We are in the Ibis at Springfield Quay. Its the old eTap so its a bit basic. 20 mins walk from Ibrox. There's also a bowling alley at the Quay. Plenty of places to eat also.
they've_been_suckered
GREAT Travelodge. As a useless aside, the bar by the Ski Slope in "Xscape" is really good. The beer selection is really impressive

Lion Rampant
You could always just book a hotel in the city centre and get the underground back after the game.
