  1. It's such a quick turnaround between the semi and final I don't think as many will travel as they would under normal circumstances If (if) we beat Ukraine, I reckon we'll take between 5,000/8,000, if it was not such a quick turnaround and we had a better allocation, we would take, 15,000/20,000 easliy
  2. Non Rangers fan - my thoughts !! Frankfurt where the slightly better team during the first 90 mins. (And should have had a penalty 1st half IMO) Rangers the better team in extra time Rangers must be one of the fittest teams in Europe, they are not the best team in Scotland but they are certainly the fittest. Overall I think Frankfurt just about deserved it. The young lad Bassey looks a cracking player and also strong as a bull. Ramsay doesn't look fit - guaranteed he'll be in top shape and top form though if we beat Ukraine and play those Welsh C***S 4 days later. Great campaign (again) by Rangers, just wish our other clubs could do that wee bit better when the new campaigns start again June / July
  3. For fuck sake, just read the past few pages, what a Riddy !!
  4. Every club has arseholes within their support Ramy, BUT some of the songs from the Rangers support last night was fucking shocking considering whats going on in Eastern Europe at the moment (and could get much (much) worse), It's exactly what you would expect from the England support playing Germany in the 1980's / 90's !! Ignorant & drunk at best, brain dead fuckwits otherwise.
  5. Agree with you mostly there Aaid - BUT NLC where not so principled the previous 4 season that he played for us ? (BTW Clyde support has always been split over the DGW situation)
  6. It's been brewing for a few seasons, but yes the Goodwillie situation ended the relationship.
  7. So that's Clyde & NLC parting company after 26 years,, this Saturday against Airdrie will be our last ever game at Cumbernauld, we should have had Broadwood at least half full every 2nd week (which would be crowds of 4000), but from the very start we always insisted we where still, and always would be a Glasgow club (the club is at fault mainly for this) so hardly the local population of Cumbernauld's fault. Nothing confirmed yet about where in the city we will move back to, but it would make sense to go back to the south east of the city as there is still lots of Clyde fans in the Rutherglen / Bridgeton / Castlemilk areas. Some old romantics (probably like me 🤣) would love us to go back to our home (Shawfield), but sadly the old place needs flattened !! Anyhow ground share with Hamilton for the next season or two. Come Away The Clyde !! Mon The Bully Wee !!!
  8. I firmly believe that our Universe of billions of galaxies (each containing billions of solar systems) is more than likely teaming with life, with a small fraction of that being intelligent life. There could be civilisations out there millions of years more advanced than us, so with that in mind, I doubt we have been visited by any aliens, I mean if you had that mind-blowing (to us anyway) technology, to travel the galaxies and at speed of light, I highly doubt your going to travel with that amount of technology and then crash land in a desert in Nevada 🤣
  9. I think Stuart Armstrong is a cracking player, however in a Scotland shirt he is generally poor & constantly loses possession of the ball. Good member of the squad, but no longer a starter for me ??
  10. Just finished season 5 of Queen Of The South, a good enjoyable watch (though a wee tad far fetched) also a wee bit humour in it (give it 7/10)
  11. Great piece mate & agree 100%, 140lbs is finished for Josh Taylor.
  12. Really enjoyed the whole day and the main event (Hydro was packed to the rafters) I'm not sure if there will be a re-match, but I'm sure I heard Josh Taylors head trainer saying if there is a re-match, it will be at 147lbs rather than 140lbs. Taylor being the naturally bigger man (and IMO having an off night on Saturday), I think he beats Catterall all day long, Catterall came across as a decent lad & had a fair squad of fans up from Manchester.
  13. Remember the ECWC final very well (1983) - was in a pub next to Hampden (The Montford) was rammed full with I guess mainly Celtic / Rangers fans, well certainly all the mates I was with where OF fans. To a man they cheered on Aberdeen as if it was their team winning the ECWC, think most of Scotland where Aberdeen fans that night. Great team & great achievement !!
  14. Just over a week to Josh Taylor's fight, me and my son going, really looking forward to it, should be a cracker.
  15. Great idea, looking forward to it & shall contribute !!
  16. Is the Wales game on TV ? (can't find it listed anywhere)
  17. It must be so frustrating being an Aberdeen fan (as there is a decent team in there somewhere), If you lot played with the same drive as you do against Celtic & Sevco, you would easily be sitting comfortably in 3rd place
  18. I still maintain (as i'm an auld git) that Borg is the greatest of all time (he finished his career on 11 slams I think), but retired at a very young age, best I have ever seen !!
  19. Yes was a bad decision on his (or his advisors part) at Clyde he was our best paid player (have heard he was on 1k per week) was also the captain, but as I said before , his employment by our club left a bad taste in many supporters mouths.
  20. When we where in L2, there wasn't much aimed at him, but since we got promoted to L1 and the larger crowds that go with that, he's had it tight at away grounds and at home against the teams that bring a decent travelling support, (Falkirk & Airdrie in particular). Quite a few Clyde fans stopped going when he signed for us, hopefully they haven't been lost to the club for good.
