  1. He's scoring goals in a pub league
  2. None. It's a non starter... Unless brexit changes things
  3. Allan Campbell is an absolute terrier, he works from 1st to last, might not have the physical attributes for international football though. Love the wee guy though
  4. I actually thought he done not too badly last night
  5. Completely different... Scotland aren't there to scout prospects, they are there to play the best players available. One of the factors in defining how good a player is by watching them at the highest level possible. If we had called Robbo up while at QP it would've been nuts, just like it's nuts to suggest Shankland is in a similar category to McBurnie, Naismith and Russel because he scores goals against utter dug meat.
  6. He plays in one of the top leagues in Europe and has a good track record of scoring goals... So, aye
  7. Totally agree... The level the player is competing at is the most important factor in my opinion.
  8. Players from the Scottish Championship should not be called up for Scotland... The standard is ludicrously low
  9. That McBurnie clip does not make good viewing
  10. So we've picked 2 keepers from below the championship.... Neither of whom will play a single minute over the next two games. Goalkeeper is clearly an issue going forward
  11. He's nae worse than O'Donnell... But that's not a compliment 🤣
  12. Top end championship teams aren't diddies when it comes to Scotland players I'm afraid... Absolutely no problem with players from a club like Wednesday getting a call up, and to be totally honest I've only seen Palmer a handful of times so may be slightly harsh on him.... ... I'm not being harsh on SOD though, he's reeking.
  13. Sheffield Wednesday are a Diddy team? Jeezo, theyre oot in force the day. I'm more than happy for Diddy teams players to be called up... In fact, I'm more than happy Taylor has been called up from the same club as SOD ... So in fact it's heehaw to do with the club, it's the fact he's utter shite and as slow as fuck
  14. Unfortunately neither is Odonnell or Palmer... Jack is comfortably a better footballer than both of these guys
  15. 'never heard of the guy'... 'surely we've got someone better than that?' Fucking hell man 🤣
  16. Jack is more competent at right back than O'Donnell in my opinion... He's played there many times
  17. Similar Marshall Jack Hanley Cooper Robbo McTominay McGinn McLean Forrest McBurnie Forrest
  18. Ooooft 🤣... Going to attempt the question?
  19. Hanley is no where close to being as bad as some folk like to make out
  20. Goram McNamara Hendry Calderwood Boyd Lambert McAllister Collins Faddy McCoist Johnston Subs Gordon, Dailly, McStay, Gallagher, Duncan Ferguson Goram for me is easily our best goalkeeper in my living memory... Unfortunately he had his issues that we all know about and by the time he got to Fir Park was a total shell of what he once was. McNamara - it always baffled me why Burley got so much game time at this guys expense, a proper attacking full back Hendry and Calderwood - oh what we'd give for a dependable, top EPL level centre back pairing these days Boyd - for all that he is an utter cockend, he was an excellent left full back in his day Midfield 3, At the top of their respective games, these guys were cutting about at the very top of European football... A great balance about the three of them as well The Fadiator - in behind the strikers, doing whatever the fuck he wants. For a 3 or 4 year spell, Faddy was our national hero. Up front, probably our last proper strike partnership?? Two guys that scored goals, with MoJo in particular a borderline genius. Subs... Gordon a fantastic keeper until injuries got the better of him... Dailly, there are probably a lot of better options over the years but included because he could cover the whole back four, as well as for his undoubted attitude towards playing for our country McStay - a fantastic player that should have moved away from celtic to really prove it Gallacher - his form on the run up to France 98 gets him the nod here, both for club and Country he was outstanding in that period both through the middle and out wide Drunken Duncan - another missed opportunity for us. An immovable object that scared the shite out of just about anyone he faced, it's a real regret that his Scotland career was so short. His performance at Ibrox against Germany was right up there.
  21. Ryan Jack should be our right back, not as cover
  22. If that's the case, we're fucked
