It's not so much that we're not up for considering or discussing a change in formation, it's that you turn so many different threads into this one discussion. Can't you see how that would make people exasperated? I guess maybe not, as you have self-identified as being "not a people person", so as a people person myself trust me when I tell you it really does make people exasperated. This is why you are being met with such negativity. It's not the idea of a formation change that does it, it's your style of presentation. This is a football forum. We want to discuss formations. But we also want to talk about other stuff too! Why don't you create a thread for discussing formation experimentation and try and keep the majority of it there? Then people who genuinely do want to think about it and discuss it with you have an appropriate place to do it.

Clarke has won the two games he's been expected to win, lost the three games he's been expected to lose, and his only other match was a disappointment against a good team. Let's see what he does with the next four games before really starting to question his management.

Love this post mate. I'm almost starting to feel the same. I think we've hit such a low over the last few months that the only way is up now. I think the away match to Cyprus will be a test but if we win that, then beat Kazakhstan at home, by the time March comes around there will be some real excitement built up. That semifinal at Hampden will be a spectacle, and if we do win that (which I think we're well capable of doing) then the confidence and excitement levels will be through the roof going into our biggest single match of the century. It's not all doom and gloom. Come on Scotland!

Yeah, UEFA protocol, fines, and sections all seem like a joke. It reminds me of the anecdote about the private school who decided to start fining parents if they were late to collect their kids, and they were surprised when even more parents started turning up late. The fines were so much cheaper than childcare. Racist football fans must be thinking something along the same lines: "What an unbelievably cheap price to pay for being an absolute cretin. Anyhooooooo: Marshall Jack McKenna Tierney Robbo McTominay McGregor McGinn Forrest McBurnie Fraser I think that's possibly our best 11 players (excluding Christie), but I have massive doubts over playing Jack and Tierney out of position, and their being an imbalance of attack-minded midfielders.

So frustrating we didn't get that home win against Lithuania! Just have to do the business against Greece in the next game I suppose.
