  1. I agree about the fit, I went with my usual medium size from there but would've probably been better off with a small. Might still actually do that lol. I stopped short of trying on the genuine one in JD as I'm certain I'd have noticed differences and done something stupid like buying it 🤣
  2. I understand the caution most people are having in the build up but personally I've been buzzing for this game since the final whistles went last Saturday afternoon! This current group of players are a completely different beast to teams of the past and I'm more than confident they won't let us down tonight. In all honesty I don't think I've been looking forward to a Scotland game this much solely for footballing reasons since Craig Brown's era. For years the excitement was mostly based around meeting up with friends for a mighty piss up before and after the game, the game itself was just a bonus if we won! Now I'm genuinely excited to watch this team play! I'm going for 2-0 tonight
  3. Swap Dykes for Adams and I'd be happy with that line up. I doubt Clarke will go that way as it would be very harsh dropping Hickey as you say. It'd be harsh dropping Porteous too but I don't think he starts ahead of McKenna when fit and on form. I also think Christie will start How I think he'll go: Gunn Hendry McKenna Tierney Hickey Robertson McTominay McGregor Christie McGinn Adams
  4. I was in JD Sports today picking up an away shirt for holiday and had a look at the 150th shirt. Got to say there is next to no difference in the quality from the genuine one to the one I got here a few weeks ago for £14: https://www.soccer03.com/h-product-detail.html?goods_id=611159
  5. I'm counting down the days to the Cyprus game! Can't wait! The England is just a nice wee bonus to have to watch but I'll def have the Norway Georgia game on the phone lol (if we beat Cyprus obviously)
  6. Hopefully the loan move goes through but this is such a strange one for me. An absolute favourite with the fans, best LB at the club and has a great work ethic and attitude so can't understand why Arteta wants nothing to do with him. Arteta also isn't coming out well from all this considering he was saying pre season Tierney's in his plans and just needs to work hard to get back in the team. Fingers crossed we'll be watching Arsenal getting rinsed this season (especially down the left hand side) and Arteta getting his jotters by Christmas!
  7. I'm of the same attitude. The fact us, Wales and Ireland are even involved makes this whole thing politically motivated, as I think someone already suggested, a wee insulting post Brexit UK love-in with an bigger insulting token gesture to the Irish. England hosted the Euro's themselves nearly 30 frigging years ago and their infrastructure has improved so why do they need us involved? It stinks.
  8. Anyone with half a footballing brain can see, on his day, Tierney's Arsenal's best LB, which makes me think Arteta must think he's made of glass given all his recent injury woes. Now if he can't get a game ahead of players he's better than and those who are being played out of their natural position then how many other clubs are going to want him? Certainly none on a par with or close to Arsenal. So if he's going to have take a wage cut to get regular game time, I can't help but think he's going to end up back at Celtic before the end of the transfer window which would be an even bigger waste than staying at Arsenal (in my own humble opinion).
  9. Aye he’s a centre back first and a right back if needed. After just being told he’s still in Arteta’s plans this is just another kick in the teeth for Tierney. I’d be demanding a transfer asap. Truly hope Man City rip them to shreds down the left in the 2nd half
  10. That’s what I’m hoping so fingers crossed! Aye I’m just waiting for that news to break eventually. Just recently renewed Sky but I did away with the sports channels as with the Scotland games gone there was absolutely no point in me having it (told the wife she could pay for Now tv passes if she wanted to watch any Rangers games 😂) Fingers crossed TNT get in there quickly as we get that free through the wife’s work 🤞🏻🤞🏻
  11. 😂😂 ffs! Ah well, £59 for 2 Scotland games. At least they were decent wins, was anyone else fucked over by this deal? I took it as the missus is a Rangers fan so would have also benefited from the odd few cup games for her on top of the Scotland games for me.
  12. Yep it’s coverage is head and shoulders above Sky’s but I can’t help but feel I’ve been duped by the £59 year offer I took last month going by the recent news 🙁
  13. This is the biggest change for me. When was the last time you can remember a Scotland player pulled out the squad "injured" then played 90 mins for his club days later? Probably not since Clarke's first year in charge at least and he deserves massive credit for changing this. This is probably the most committed group of players I've seen in the last 30 years of me following the national team and I fucking love each and every one of them!
  14. According to the BBC If the game is called off it’s a restart from the point it stops tomorrow. That’s a bastard for the fans who’ve travelled from outside Glasgow
  15. Disagree on this point. After Brexit, and all the other Pandemic based corruption from down south I think an Indy ref would comfortably result in at least a 55% yes vote. If WM were so confident in this not happening they'd not refuse a ref, they'd let us get on with it and look silly voting against it again so quickly. The longer this whole debacle is going on with the crime scene tents etc and no charges being brought the closer I am to looking out my tinfoil hat!
  16. Absolutely! Fraud and corruption is fraud and corruption regardless of who, how much etc and anyone guilty of it deserves everything they get. I just find it staggering how quickly it's been jumped on by the police up here in Scotland compared with all the dodgy dealings that were going on during the pandemic down south. Although that probably says a lot more about the current state of the MET rather than our police. I really hoped the SNP were a party that could stand above the likes of the corrupt WM parties, but I guess it's true what the say, power corrupts, and 15 years in power is plenty of time for corruption to set in.
  17. Wild! All they had to do was keep their fingers clean and Indy was theirs for the taking (seems they wanted £600K instead). I'm not usually one for whataboutery, but given the raids on the Murrell's home and SNP offices for £600K I await with baited breath for the raids on the Tory offices down south and arrests for Michelle Mone et all amid the PPE scandals that cost the tax payers billions!! 🙄
  18. Oh aye I'd take that group for us too but I just don't think it'll be the easy group for them that people think. Kazakhstan, Slovenia and Finland away are all games I wouldn't say they have a good chance of winning (us either for that matter going by past performances against those teams, Finland excluded maybe)
  19. You think? Other than San Marino I wouldn't say they have any other easy games in that group. All their remaining away games are potential banana skin games imo
  20. Currently unavailable on the JD website now 🤣 clearly hundreds have bought it at 30% off rather than 15, now JD are frantically trying to fix their f**k up. Unreal.
  21. Read on instagram someone from JD sports confirmed that the cost will be £90. Really wanted one but not at that price.
  22. Aye exactly this. MLS is an entertaining league to watch but that's because it America and they know the value of entertainment. It's a league that encourages open attacking play rather than sitting deep and defending for your life which sucks any enjoyment out of a game for a neutral. As such, players like Gauld (who languished in Sporting Lisbons B team and Portugal's lower leagues on loan) and Morgan (who struggled to hold a regular place in the Celtic team as he wasn't really all that effective) are thriving. Put the pair of them on against a team like Georgia who we've struggled to break down in the past with better players and they'll do SFA (pardon the pun)
