Daft question: Why can Glasgow compete against their Welsh and Irish counterparts yet Scotland struggle?

That two of the best players from either side cannot play can only reduce the quality on show. However as a neutral I would like to see a good competitive match played, with no resort to cheating and that the best team wins. Mind you I would also like World peace, a cure for all illness and a fair a just society.

Could get pretty embarrassing unfortunately.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Anyone have any idea what time the McBusted concert is likely to finish? That'll give me an idea about what film to go and see or whether King Tuts is a feasible idea.

I have just found out that I am taking and bringing back my Daughters from the McBusted, nope not got a clue, concert on Thursday night. Any suggestions for something to keep me entertained in Glasgow whilst they are at the concert. Unfortunately going to the pub is not an option.

The fact that France didn't score a try shoes that Scotland have greatly improved in that area. Cut out the stupid penalties and I think that we can be a match for any country in the 6 Nations. And as for not supporting Scotland at rugby because of the perception that some of them may have voted No then by the same logic I take it that when Allan McGregor is picked to play for Scotland at football then they'll not support them.
