I once thought that was the best course of action too. But 30 years ago. 30 years of waiting on them to die out has not worked, as witnessed by the number of marches yesterday. There’s some weird perceived victim status among the inbred fuckers, fuelled largely by the demise of their football team and all the ways they were wronged and mocked by nationalists, fen Ian’s and jacobites. There’s a growing seige mentality brewing which is getting pretty sinister and potentially dangerous. Allowing such walks, which are going to attract the worst subhuman scumbags who buy into the victim mentality, and have them March past Catholic Churches is inflammatory. It needs addressed, not pandered to. In my opinion.

Stop trying to laugh at the issue and brush it off as unimportant and of no merit. Someone is pointing out the head in the sand attitude that seems to prevail in Scotland and is backing that up by tackling those who do the same. It’s about bloody time and I find it laudable. Hope the posters above acknowledge their comments were misjudged, especially following the video evidence. It is a fact that large parts of both the Rangers and Chelsea support are vile bigoted arseholes. Continually seeing the calling out of this as being simply a dig at Rangers is just head in the sand stuff. Believe it or not, there’s decent people who really want to see an end to this stuff, regardless of what institutions this may upset. And, worse, to say it’s in any way ‘banter’ is acknowledging its existence but accepting its existence.

In this, I really 100% agree with you. It depresses the hell out of me. With the stories of discarded tests on trains, my own experience of viewing discarded masks everywhere, it confirms the mankiness and inconsiderate nature of people in general. And the lack of adherence to mask wearing is even worse. It just confirms people don’t give a fuck for other people. Takes all I’ve got on the school run to not say anything to those who continually flout the regulations requested by the school.
