    I went from Sony to HTC and actually preferred my old Sony. Also had an iPhone and liked it a lot. Don't think there's a big difference between all the high end phones, Apple or Android. Think there's a new Sony about to come out, the Z5 premier or something like that?

    Morrisons have 200g packets of costa ground coffee for £2.50 just now. Not the best but you get the whole packet (probably more than 20 cups) cheaper than one coffee from costa.

    Yes. It`s a big hall with plenty room. It`s not that fancy but it`s warm and there`s food and drink. You can get a curry and a pint for something like a tenner.

    My personal favourite is when the ticket machine at the station is broken, then the conductor can`t be arsed going around to check/sell tickets. Then the big queue at the station to buy a ticket at the barrier, and the conductor walks past playing with his/her phone.

    I was at Nick Cave at the concert hall a few months ago (£65 a ticket). Girl sitting along from us sat playing on her phone the entire night, didn`t see any of the show at all. Only looked up at the end of every song to applaud the song she`d just missed.

    I used to use strava for hillwalking but it`s hopeless now. Cuts out all the time and hardly gets a reception. Take my nike+ running watch now (which could do with an extra few hours battery power).

    Do you ever see those police reality shows on tv. About 20 coppers pile out of a van and smash in a front door just to get a couple of hash plants. Then at the end a smiling polis says something like `we`re slowly but surely, winning the war on drugs` Aye sure you are. What a complete and utter waste of time and money.

    I used to go mountain biking more or less every week. Hardly go at all now, just use the bike for getting to remote hills. Even did the trail centre leader course back in the day but never really used it.     I got these free with my mobile last year http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-MDR10RBT-Wireless-Headphones-Bluetooth-black/dp/B00F0CQJQWPretty good but not sure they`re worth the money (they were selling for about £200 at the time). The bluetooth works really well on them though.

    No they wouldn`t. You can`t hear the in-ear buds. The apple type ones that don`t go right into your ears, you can hear them alright. Those sennheisers mentioned are good but there`s better ones out there now for abut the same price.

    If you`re getting the train back to Dusseldorf after the match, make sure you don`t get the local train that stops every 3 fekin minutes

    The world cup has been great. Everyone really friendly in all the games i went to. Everything well organised at the stadiums and the city centres. On the negative side.....the ticket site is a pile of shite. It still doesn`t work now. And the tickets were way overpriced. The Aussie fans? Are they the dullest in world sport? No noise coming from them at all when they played us, or Argentina.

    It was set before. They had other games on earlier on Saturdays so there would no point in having games on at the same time.
