last night was grim no other words for it the 2nd goal defenders hopeless and then 3 midfielders all standing in line with penalty spot. same at 1st goal with about 5 on line. then corner when our centre half martin was outwith the area of the goalposts at a corner. unbelievable jeff as the saying goes. also i am still raging that burke wasnt even stripped we had no one until griffiths came on that would run behind their defence. i had this discussion after sat game with some idiot saying he burke was lazy in defence, he is a direct runner not a fkn right back who caused problems and panic whenever he had a run at lithuania on saturday. Everyone in football knows that pace is a godsend if your players have it and in this day and age players who can run at defenders and beat them or get you up the pitch are the same. we had not one bit of pace in the team last night and as much as i like snodgrass i dont think ive ever seen him play wide left. Strachan needs to go and he needs to explain why no burke/griffiths/or robertson who i have heard was injured but not confirmed. we had 2 goalkeepers on subs bench but not a £13 million player in the bundesliga. Anyone who just came back from the moon would say our manager must be undercover working for slovakia fa. And end of rant but i was in faro last year and it was embarrasing so all you fannys who cheered him and who just go for the party can also fk off coz in my view people like yourselves have helped bring this great game that we used to be good at to the levels that we are now at with no optimism and just general doom and gloom and some of you should be on a political board also.

Never used to bother about prices much as always go with my sons and family tickets were I felt good value. Last night however has got me pissed off nearly 20000 empty seats is ridiculous. Those extra fans could have made the difference. The amount of fans leaving after 75 mins as well unfortunately says it all. We are down in the dumps and I am really feeling it. Yep agree with most on here I am totally sick. Cant believe how far we have fallen and I am actually getting angry with myself for wanting Strachan to stay. I think he is man for the job but that maybe says more about my and our country as a wholes expectations (we finished 4th and doesnt matter which way you dress it up). We now do not expect to qualify. And I for one cant see any players coming through in the near future. Yes there is lots of potential the (3 ryans) but the next step is the biggest one and the chances of them doing it are not huge. Even our support is crap now lets be honest. The only reason forrest is selected is because what i feel is WGS puts a lot of emphasis on training.now i would imagine forrest will look great in training running with the ball and no one wanting to injure a teammate but in a real international game he looks lost he doesnt have enough pace or power or football brain to trouble gd defenders..ialso for one saw tonight that the epl players,mcarthur,morrison,ritchie are miles better than celtic players.brown,mulgrew,forrest. I do feel however Griffiths should have been on as that time fletcher was through and he attempted a pass summed him up. Griffiths shoots on sight and should definitely been on. As it says if we had won last night we would have had to beat Poland or Germany for automatic qualification. Now we will have to beat either for a play off. We have not done good since last year and whilst hindsight is great, strachan relying on who's produced previously doesn't cut it. I just bought tickets for Germany game there and you cannot buy without having an sfa number so all this crap about away fans taking over is exactly that. I only have a number I think through buying tickets previously.

I have just booked flights to lisbon from manchester for myself wife and 2 kids on ryanair wed 7th back friday 16th having a wee holiday £220 all in. Will drive down to faro for game as its only 2 and half hours. Loads of nice beaches around lisbon area and weather averages say its only 1 degree less than algarve. maybe stay down algarve for 3/4 days.

I go from Leeds/Bradford quite often due to cheap ryanair flights. Travelodge is a walk to terminal and there is parking at it but parking cost is quite expensive. Theres no bar at it but the town of yeadon is only a mile away. There is a premier inn at Yeadon with a bar food etc and most importantly free parking with a great sit in fish/chip shop across the road (Murgatroyds).

I think with all your big hitting politicians desperation that we stay with you is it not more likely that you are just a small part of Scotland!

If we beat Ireland in Dublin I would say we are guaranteed 3rd .and then it's a shoot out with ourselves Germany and Poland in sept,October 2015 for 1,2,3 and remember we have them at home and the crowd anticipation will be similar to 2007/08 campaign. germany will likely prevail but I don't think Poland will beat us at home with the momentum we will have generated by then.
