  1. Yep - maybe if you stopped being one and using terms like 'hatred' in terms of a debate about football then we could have a reasoned debate. I don't do hatred, and neither should you (my opinion).
  2. Hatred? For a football team? Do you honestly think The Rangers/Sevco/dead club are that important in anybody's life except your own?
  3. Hatred? Go and do one you asshole. We are talking about football here, and not life and death. All you and too many (but not all) of idiotic kindred is to try to make a game of football into something beyond a sport. Your team may be second in the league, but your team is shite, and that's my opinion. No hatred involved in stating that opinion. You introduced hatred to this thread, so go and get some therapy for your problem.
  4. UKIP led me away from home, when I didn't wanna be alone. They stole my heart and that's what really hurts.
  5. It would help if we had a reliable defence. Archie ####ed something that was working exceptionally well in Thistle terms last season by getting rid of Frans, Seabourne and Miller. Devine and Gordon have been rank inferior in comparison - Gordon in particular is not as good as he seems to think he is. Liam Lindsay has a way to go before he can be considered to be competent at SPL level. Analyse it whatever way you want. In my view, unlucky doesn't make us a good team - the results prove that we are not a good team. Over to you Archie.
  6. A genuine question. What adjustments have been made to the eligibility rule since we last qualified for a tournament in 1998?
  7. Enday Kenny's interview tonight sets the ball rolling. The Republic, like Niclola, has been playing a very canny game, because Maggie May and the the Brexiteers have never considered the effect of all of this beyond the end of their own noses. The Irish will be majorly affected by Brexit politically more than any other way, and nobody, but nobody on May's side has acknowledged this. The second half of 2016 since the referendum will seem like a chimps tea party come this time next year, believe me.
  8. Thanks for the considered analysis - it's a realistic snapshot of reality that's bound to go against the grain with a few very good posters on here. However, it's a fair reflection of the context that impacts selection policy in international football across the globe.
  9. And yet another redundant e-mail has arrived from the SSC.
  10. Maggie May will never sanction it though. Irrespective of that, well done to both Jamie and Andy. What an achievement to be world number one at any sport and for two brothers to do it simultaneously is probably a first. And for two Scotsmen to achieve that is something that will likely never happen again in our lifetime. So savour every moment of your achievement, Jamie and Andy, because you both damn well deserve it!!
  11. What? Not even John Greig????
  12. St Augustine would have struggled to remain polite in those circumstances, md 1976. Whichever way you look at it, the treatment you received on the night was unacceptable. However, the way they have treated you thereafter is even more unacceptable. Rather than hold their hands up, admit their grave error and show some humiilty by making amends for their appalling level of customer service in the circimstances, they accept no liability and terminate your membership even in the face of your profuse apology. By any standard of analysis, that treatment falls well below the levels of service that you and all members are fully entitled to expect from all SSC staff, especially those who are customer facing.
  13. Exactly this. The puzzle was why they only had two windows active for what was probably the largest pick-up in years (in terms of numbers) and certainly the most concentrated in terms of time availability. They probably had no choice about the location, but the pick-up point should clearly have been better resourced. The dark haired female who was on the right hand window fell well short in basic human courtesy on the night. Her tone left a lot to be desired. No idea why, it certainly wasn't anything that we said. As you allude to, courtesy and respect should be a given. Patronising customer service, insufficient resources and condescending e-mail communications only serve to undermine what was a very good service up until five or so years ago.
  14. More condescending crap produced by the SFA. To give them their due, it's the one area where they have excelled in recent years.
  15. Five days on from the election and still our media has its head up Trump's arse.
  16. Not this season he isn't. He's been a liability for Thistle this season - underwhelming defensively, and offers nothing going forward. It's no coincidence that our upturn in form has coincided with a change in formation, Ziggy being dropped and Christie Elliott replacing him at wing-back.

  18. Deutsche Welle showing his Baloise Session show right now. Right impressed with it - he is very, very good. Reminds me of a more soulful Frankie Miller, and that's saying something because Frankie has plenty of soul.
  19. 3 games at the back - 7 points. Adam Barton is the mutt's nuts.
  20. That was a great scrap - well done to both teams for putting on a riveting game. Could have gone either way in the second half. Wonderful improvisation from Rogic for a goal that was worthy of winning any game.
