  1. Common sense required from Scotty and Larky in their postings. Stop doing it by numbers guys. Thplinth - it isn't an offence to articulate your case without swear words. Try it sometime. You'll find it might enhance your argument once in a while. Parkie's just Parkie - I've grown to like him him, a good guy who can take it as well as give it (most of the time). Sorry to have lost Rossy's political analysis, which was spot on, however he head become way too personal with some of his comments and was heading for a kicking - some of his stuff was coming back to him as we know from his last contributions to this board. Would love to have him back. It's a fans' forum after all.
  2. Forrest really is toilet. Would love to say more but cannot do so. Other than Neil Lennon will be happy tonight.
  3. Yes. So after you overcome Limassol - which I sincerely hope you do - you may have Nicklas Bendter in your group.
  4. What a curious performance from Celtic - but they got the job done, so kudos for that.
  5. So why seed them? Seeding introduces bias to the draw.
  6. WTF is the logic (and I use that term loosely in this context) behind that???
  7. Did Hearts get gubbed today? Genuine question as I was following Thistle's puerile attempts to overcome Stranraer.
  8. After a tentative first 25 or so, Aberdeen have been very, very good tonight.
  9. That's been coming for a while. Now don't sit back holding onto 1-0. Go for a second.
  10. Update - the second leg of Buducnost - Partizan was played tonight, and central Podgorica was in total lockdown from noon, with all bars shut and a long radius around the stadium being no-go. First time I've seen that happen, so tensions were probably high. Around 1500 visiting supporters, total crowd around 6000. Game itself finished 0-0, so Partizan go through 2-0, but Buducnost missed two golden chances around the 75th minute, which if either goes in makes it a totally different game. Adam - you probably made the correct decision to choose Thursday over tonight. Haven't experienced tension like this since I arrived.
  11. Game is being shown live in Montenegro, so this TAMBer hopes the Dons will put on a show that does us all proud.
  12. So too many clean sheets negates him from being Scotland's number one? Who would you have in goal then? Who passes your clean sheets test?
  13. He's first choice on the basis of his current form, though. Which is what I'm judging him on.
  14. No worries - been travelling back from Glasgow yesterday and today, so wasn't up to speed with the fallout. It was a genuine question in the wake of that utterly bizarre yellow card.
  15. BB King at the Pavilion on the Saturday night that McAvennie, Butcher, Woods and whoever else had their set-to at Ibrox in 1987. Some tosser threw an ex-club scarf on to the stage. BB picks it up and proceeds to wonder why he got booed for the rest of the solo to 'The Thrill is Gone'. Said scarf got ditched pronto at the end of the number.
  16. OK - I'll bite, and this is not aimed at you specifically Paulo, but to all who have contributed. Leaving aside club stuff, please highlight Craig Gordon's 'clangers' for Scotland?
  17. Pity you stopped reading - you might have been able to add something to the debate.
  18. The second goal was Stuart Armstrong's responsibility, pure and simple. Make the pass or boot the ball into the corner flag and we win that game. No keeper on earth should come for a cross unless he is certain of making it, and there is no evidence that says Craig Gordon made a wrong decision not coming for Sterling's cross. The angle from the North Stand showed that he absolutely made the correct decision not coming for it. What hasn't been acknowledged too much is that it was a damn good finish from Harry Kane. The jammy barsteward.
  19. Y I agree the first England goal was a disgrace. But that was fundamentally due to Keiran Tierney's idiotic hesitation on the pass back. No throw-in = no attempt on goal from them. If you want to cast blame then start at the root of the problem and not the culmination. Keiran Tierney gifted them that shot on goal.
