  1. No - the power outages out here mean that you can't have two rings of the cooker on at the same time as the telly and the laptop, Charles!
  2. Haggis and tatties. That's quite an achievement in Tirana.
  3. Thanks for clarifying, that explains it - hadn't realised that tonight's game wasn't being covered!!!
  4. Genuine question - why is the weekly Celtic v Dundee United fixture going ahead when there are Champions League fixtures on at the same time? I thought that was prohibited by edict from the Gnomes of Geneva?
  5. Also wrote 'A Fool in Love' and 'Be Good To Yourself' for/with Frankie Miller and 'Every Kind Of People' which was a big hit for Robert Palmer.
  6. Has joined the big music festival in the sky at the age of 62. http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-31937608
  7. Sorry to contradict you, but he did not. His goal v Spain was KennyDal's last at international level. The goal v Belgium was in 78-79.
  8. Kaye Adams has been a parody of herself for about 15 years now. She's a tired apology of whom was once a very good broadcaster. Give that show to Izzy Fraser instead.
  9. It was a Schalke 04 game a couple or so years back - he gave a penalty and red carded their defender when in fact the striker accidentally tripped himself up.
  10. Gary Neville likewise. Gained a lot of respect for him tonight. Sounded as though he may have reined in what he really wanted to say a couple of times, too.
  11. They beat Chelsea tonight. So that's one aspect in which they are not horrible.
  12. Craig Thomson and Willie Collum have plenty of previous for that unfortunately. And they are UEFA accredited.
  13. That was a scandalous decision. It wasn't even a yellow. Two guys going for a 50-50 ball and both going for the ball. Well done Gray Neville for calling it for what it was.
  14. 1-1. Are The Rangers even going to make the play-offs at this rate?
  15. With every respect to someone who has been an excellent goalkeeper, he's lost a fair few goals this last couple of years that have tarnished his reputation somewhat. WC v Holland at least a couple (and one v Chile too?) Slovakia v Spain the first one Lost a howler v Atletico recently Looked dodgy on both tonight.
  16. Craig Thomson should be the one cited, because, like Willie Collum, he gets too many decisions spectacularly wrong far too often and is allowed to get away with it without sanction. Which is unacceptable in my view.
  17. Ach, sorry folks. There's bugger all happening on the Jags forum this week, so I thought I'd come across here instead. Not quick enough, though!!!
  18. He's done it this time: http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-31824040
  19. Ian McWhirter in the Herald today goes to town on Massie and Hastings concluding that 'We scribblers have a responsibility not to turn a general election campaign into a witch-hunt.'
