  1. Pish - that's something that's grown legs and arms over the years., and by your own admission you weren't even there. I was there, SAHB were damn good indeed excellent that night, but the Messi of the bass guitar and Keith Moon were a world apart that night. No contest.
  2. These things are always open to subjectivity, but Daltrey, Entwistle, Moon and Townshend are comprehensively the best front four that ever played at Celtic Park.
  3. That does not need to be said Charles. It's 40 years ago next month since Who By Numbers was released - on the week I started at Glasgow University................ Always thought Squeeze Box was in the 65-68 idiom that you refer to.
  4. Good man, you are on the right road. Check out The Who By Numbers and Quadrophenia and your place in heaven is assured.
  5. Bangoura springs to mind. I'd exempt Ambrose from that list - at least he's played more then 6 games for them, unlike the others. He's always got comedy value. Scepovic is a strange one though. He's a player but for some reason (personal?) he just doesn't fit.
  6. Quadrophenia and Layla and other Assorted Love Songs. The highpoints of The Who and Mr Clapton's esteemed catalogues. From more recently, The Temperance Movement's album is the mutt's nutts
  7. Johnny Russell not scored today yet?
  8. He hasn't a chance now. Leaving aside previous history, he couldn't have known that he was going to have a blackout on that day. That's a given. However, what has come out during that FAI about his form filling does not show himself or GDC's verification procedures in a good light at all. The Crown should now be looking at a decision that serves the public interest overall. The manner in which this whole FAI has been conducted has been at best...................curious.
  9. The families who announced during the trial that they were pursuing a private prosecution were premature in their action. Better to have allowed the FAI to conclude first of all. Whichever way you look at it, Harry Clarke has a very difficult future as a result of the way the FAI has panned out, on top of whatever he had been through as a result of the accident.
  10. It was either ignored unanimously, or ignored by almost everyone.
  11. It was Malmo you were playing and not Barcelona. It was Jo Inge Berget who couldn't buy a game for you when you were a mess last season that did you. Whatever way you look at it that was unprofessional given the start Celtic had.
  12. I'll try again. The question was were Celtic unprofessional having taken a two goal lead after 10 minutes?
  13. And fair play to your club for ibeing so Nevertheless, do you deny that tonight's performance was unprofessional given the start your club enjoyed?
  14. Totally unprofessional by Celtic tonight. It was clear they started coasting after 15 minutes, and boy did it come back to bite them. John Collins will no doubt be blaming the lack of competition in Scotland for his side's lack of professionalism.
  15. Saw on Sky this morning that Russell scored for Derby.
  16. Feel free to shoot me down if I am wrong, but did Celtic not lose the league in both cases??
