  1. Todays bookies donation is: Portsmouth Burton Morecambe York
  2. The TAMB time confusing me here - kickoff was 19:45 and comments from 20 minutes before that
  3. The English majority that has ruled the UK parliament for ever and ever seems to be having trouble getting their head round the possibility that one of the other countries in the UK might have some real power over England. Better together my arse.
  4. If only an oil fund had been built up while the oil price was high we could have ridden out the current low oil price ....... why have we not got an oil fund and where did the money that should have gone in it actually go? Lets hope we are separate and set up this type of fund with the money from oil off the west coast, in the Clyde estuary and from any fracking of oil shales. The oil in the North Sea might being produced in lower quantities now but that doesn't mean Scotland has is running out of oil.
  5. We are just a reality show on Mars TV at the moment....
  6. Re currency - is there anything that can learnt from the euro introduction?
  7. Twenty five would be amazing - a quadrupling of the current SNP westminster representation. Throwing figures of 50+ MPs about allows the media to portray "just" 30 seats as a "failure". Keep it realistic but work like hell to get 50!
  8. Stooping to personal insults just shows they have no effective arguements against the SNP.
  9. Probably but I would expect any onerous contracts might stipulate that they follow the SPFL share if it moves company. All speculation before anyone asks - we cannot see the contracts
  10. I was looking at televisions at PCWorld today and said to the wife, "That's the one I'd get", and a passing cyclops punched me in the face.
  11. Waiting for "more accurate" polls nearer the time showing SLAB "narrowing" the gap to build the momentum their way. Just don't believe these figures yet.
  12. I wonder how much his education at Strathclyde University would cost (9 years with no degree at the end of that time) if he had managed to get fees in place?
  13. That pub refrused us in kilts during Edinburgh Festival a few years back. Tourists in the pub argued to allow us in but to no avail. Won't darken its door again. f v c k them.
  14. All immigration at the moment. No mention of the MPs at the money trough this week.
  15. I haven't seen anything from Kiltwalk to break down what the £700k expenses were. Surely that is not all salaries - so what was it spent on?
  16. Pretty sure the Manchester area covered here is much bigger than 500,000 folks.
  17. I don't have the figures to hand but has there not been a gradual decline for the tories since the 80s with Nicky Fairbairn? Think the majority was 53 in one election. Will have a dig about for the historical figures later.
  18. Where do you see the 4000+ extra votes for the tories coming from? I think the older, rural voters already turn out a high percentage of their natural voters so I think the tories will need to convert labour or lib-dem voters - just don't see this happening in the numbers needed. Councillor Stewart works hard at getting his face in the PA but does he work as hard getting things changed in his council ward (don't know and don't hear much if he does)? Strikes me as a bit of a rich man's Jim Murphy. Gut feeling that it is a safe SNP seat with a similar majority.
  19. Surely there isn't a seat in Scotland they will get close to winning - is there?
  20. Peer pressure will result in a console appearing at some point. Limit the time on it per day from day 1. You can use extra time on it as a reward (rather than ban it as a punishment with resulting resentment to you).
