    Tories nearly get a full majority themselves according to STV exit poll. Way out compared to opinion polls!

    Think he will increase his majority by quite a bit. Coonciller Stewart for the tories was standing outside Oakbank Community Centre polling station at lunch time (no sign of him when I voted earlier today).

    I don't believe the polls reflect what is happening in some individual seats and remembering the sheer size of Labour majorities in 2010 in many seats...... SNP - 42 Labour - 14 Lib Dems - 2 Tory - 1

    Was busier than normal for 07:30 - hopefully sign of a good turnout! But maybe just folks glad to get out after the pishin rain for last 2 days

    Won't be comfortable until I start seeing a few actual results on Friday morning. Hopefully get quietly mellow with a wee drink or two as the morning progresses

    Yep. Thirty would be excellent but I am now thinking 40 is possible. Quite a few of those large majorities won't get overturned and Labour may keep 10 to 12 seats. I really want the 50+ but just don't see it happening.

    Why not vote Green or Other to help make them more of an option in future elections if you don't like Con or LD?

    Got a brass shell casing in the house that "silenced a machine gun post" at Gallipoli - nae idea why my great uncle thought it would be good idea to bring something as heavy as that back! Used as a doorstop - maybe I should look after it better.
