Macpherson is not 'making the case for indy'. He's presenting a mischievous right-wing version of an indy Scotland. Not the same thing.

BREAKING: Authorities: Man called 911 in south Georgia to report break-in, then ambushed, shot officer who came to investigate.
It is almost impossible to have a rational debate around something that happened 13 years ago because most of us have selective memories as well as hindsight bias
The Guardian has a good piece

I think thats over dramatising it
Blair played a big part in ending the conflict in Kosovo (saving thousands of Muslim lives) and probably thought he could do the same elsewhere
Controversial but with the exception of the Iraq war i still like Tony Blair's time of Government regardless.
He did a lot of good things
(Please note the exception bit)
The Iraq war was clearly engineered after the UN refused to give backing
Engineering the Islamic Civil war that we are seeing now is debatable - i apologise for saying nonsense never mind not using IMO after saying it.
Its undeniable that the West has been despicably playing Iraq and Iran against each other since the 60s but some blame must fall on the political and religious ongoings in these countries too - not forgetting Saudia Arabia.
2. Yep - unless you want to defend tyranny
3. Invading other countries can result in an uprising against the invader yes but civil war of this type ?
What we are seeing is a war within Islam
What does it say about us when the argument that the only way that this war could have been kept under wraps was to keep Saddam in power is used ?
There is far more to the current situation in the middle east than the duplicity of Blair and Bush.
1. There were no WMD of the type (Nuclear) that the West said existed.
2. That being said getting rid of Saddam Hussein was a good idea
3. Albeit a good idea nobody foresaw that after Saddam was ousted that a large proportion of Iraqis would start killing each other
4. In hindsight someone should have thought about 3
On one hand yes - on the other no.
Davey Cameron continuing to be PM and the Tories retaining power was what this was all about so in that sense the manifesto bluff was worth it.
It is all one big charade
Surely everyone can now see that we are not going to leave the EU
And our Democracy has always been a sham
